  1. But he doesn't like Ticket To Ride? Biatch.
  2. It's weird that The Guardian seem to have given it a favourable review, as the Guide - a supplement of The Guardian - said some less than flattering things about the new songs last week
  3. As I understand it, Mr is the RAM(I guess this is the same as Ar?) of all the elements in the compound added together. So it basically means the same thing, but Mr is used when it is talking about compounds, and RAM is elements. I assume you're doing AS level too as I am on this as well. I asked the teacher about the values being ridiculous and she said it isn't like GCSE when they all come to satisfactory numbers, it can be a bit random and you have to use 3 sig figs. However I didn't check the question or your working, so can't say anything else. Sorry
  4. Going to see him in Bristol in November!! SO EXCITED. Although I need to find someone to go with.
  5. Goodness knows. I have this problem every day trying to get to lessons.
  6. Okay whatever the original intention, this sounds more than a little creepy
  7. Yes, that's probably right! AHH. (Can you be my adoptive chemistry teacher? )
  8. That's the logical answer, and what my teacher said today, so thank you! I was confused because I looked on some internet site and they said you can't really compare noble gases with non-metals or something But I don't know, you're right anyway, thank you
  9. The trend difference in atomic radius between Ne and Na? Aren't they different though because Ne is a noble gas? So it doesn't follow the across the period/down the group pattern? UGH
  10. I spent hours in Heathrow duty free this summer too. It wasn't romantic and I didn't bum around the take out joints, but it was quite fun
  11. 'The youngest, coolest, best writers in the world.' What modesty. I love how he can't help but smile as it plays
  12. In the last line, does he sing 'I'm woming home?'
  13. Sorry if this has been pointed out, but should the first post lyrics be corrected after the booklet revealed it's lyrical secrets? 'All I see just don't make sense'. I always secretly hoped he wouldn't stoop to rhyme amazes with amazing.
  14. Of course - but surely not killing them at all, no matter what the purpose, is preferable? Yes - there were stuffed cheetahs in Kruger... At a cheetah sanctuary! You could argue it's for sake of knowledge/seeing them in detail or whatever, but it was plain disturbing when they had stuffed a row of cubs suckling their mother... Mixed messages! The pair of lions you talked about - just makes me feel a mix of digust and discomfort, really. It's another example of when humans decide their own amusement/pleasure is worth more than anything else on this planet. Sigh. (this was a sort of post I never expected to type when I joined MFC )
  15. Depends how old they are - most 19th century stuffed animals were poached for the purpose. (I just know people who are interested in this sort of thing okay don't judge me )
