    If this version had been the original one I would have stopped the recording after ten seconds. I can't hear the lyrics, only music and I feel like I am in an overcrowded station hall with a hangover. I listened to the entire piece waiting for the song to start...

    I wasn't at the London and Manchester gigs but I've read all your comments.I first saw the vids and was surprised to hear "Comme un soleil mal luné" as opening song for two reasons: first because it's a slow and sad song and second because it's in French.I think he did it on purpose. My explanation may seem naive and too simple but I think he did it to inform his fans he really is "mal luné" meaning in a bad mood as most of people who attended the gig said he was. "je suis seul, si seul... (I'm so lonely). He has said several times that the found the French language better to write more personal things.Probably because he spent his chidhood in France. He's is ill, tired, doesn't approve some of his managers décisions, his album doesn't sell in the UK, he gets bad reviews, and yet he is at home.Many reasons could be put forward, even a row or a break up with his lover who was at the "origin" of the writing of this album..

    Lena, as I said in the Virgin post I have two tickets. Should receive them tomorrow. But you'll have to come to Marseille because I think it will be too risky to send them except maybe if I do it paying a fast forwarding fare.

    Unfortunately, I won't be able to go. I was on a cloud yesterday and I had to get down to earth. I'm offering the tickets to whoever can pick them up in Marseille. I received a mail saying they had received my confirmation. I think I'll receive them tomorrow or on Thursday. I don't know yet if there"ll be my name on them. I asked them. Send me a PM if you are interested.

The mail is from barclay universal music, a contest organized on twitter. Can somebody who is going tell me more about this event? I think it's only two tickets. I have to buy the train tickets and find a hotel.

    He says: 20 minutes before this concert tonight I didn't know if I had a voice. So a circus doctor took care of me. He doesn't take care of elephants,he isn't a vet he looks after human beings. Thanks to him we are here tonight because we thought of putting the gig off to January.So far I'm fine I can tell that all the drugs they give to elephants are great, they have fantastic effects, in a lot of senses. Elephants are big (arms wide apart) but .... (can't understand this sentence. I listened to it 10 times and I'm French!!) Here is the result (he shows his body) Hope that helps. For me it doesn't.

    I don't think it has something to do with his tool! I was not there but I read on a French forum that he said the doctor gave him "un traitement d' éléphant" meaning that the medicines he gave him were very stong, like those we'd give to an elephant.
