  1. Weather forecast and tennis planning made me change my plans and go to Nancy instead of Strasbourg As many MFCers had a better spot (not complaining as I arrived at 6.30 pm ) and a better equipment ,here is my small and only contribution If somebody is able to make one video out of these , please feel free to! And feel free to upload it on your own youtube channel as you'll all be faster than me
  2. This is definately not for me ,but any boycott or health opinions apart , I think it's quite a strange idea. I mean ........if I understand correctly ,9000 random people from all around the country are going to win a( not that private ) concert ticket (probably in Paris) and many of them would have to travel and pay for accomodation while there are (not that expensives ) concerts basically everywhere in France .
  3. Hooo, I see..... Then my thought is that there is no double meaning, just the translator being wrong. Otherwise it would not be a silence before 'moi"
  4. It's not Mika French It's not grammaticaly totaly right , but it's a very common way when people want to accentuate the "first person personal pronom". I didn't take care of the translation for obvious reasons ..... but I agree with @Anna Ko Kolkowska , the translator didn't get the right meaning
  5. in "Je sais pas faire .....moi" ;the fact that there is a pause between "moi" and the rest of the sentence shows that the "moi" is kindda way to accentuate the "je" at the beginning . Imo the final "moi" doesn't have to be translated because as you said it sounds strange in English. Same if you put the "moi" at the beginning of the next sentence I'm quite sure that it's intentional
  6. Maybe Japan or Korea ?.....I think that ice skating is quite popular in these countries But it just may be because the weather in Europe is too bad to run outside
  7. Could it rather be for his new tv project he didn't want to talk about ? Something like an ice skating contest for celebrities ??????
  8. @holbrookjdm on X is looking for a ticket
  9. He said in an interview that he was inspired by a newspaper tittle saying something like "after apocalypse a million of flowers bloom" . I may be wrong but I imagine the end of the concert that way And I want to say ...... I love your signature a lot !
  10. Congrats....... And good luck!
  11. I've got one if you're still interrested or have some more friends who want to come with you
  12. He says "rire" " c'est dommage que ta voix ne soit pas dans cette interview car elle me fait rire" "It's a shame your voice isn't in this interview because it makes me laught "
  13. It once crossed my mind that "she" could be the girl who was the other victim of his abusive teacher , but there was no smartphone in the early 90 .
  14. The journalist interupted him several times to ask questions so I'm not sure that they were still talking about the song at this point . Remembering that "sweety banana" is supposed to be about Wanuatu .....I'm not sure he's telling us all the details
  15. Here am I to save your soul ...... In French "avoir la banane" means having a huge smile .
  16. I've listened to the videos taken in Talance again , and I realy don't believe that he changed the lyrics ...... The sound was just not good , and our minds directed in the wrong direction .......could it be because of the banana ?????? About the double meaning of "éplucher" : for exemple we can say "éplucher le journal " that means reading very carefully every single part . About the intoxication , if we imagine that coco+banana could (also) be a cocktail with alcohol , " douce est ton ivresse" may describe his situation after drinking it The fact that he says " on se laisse là" instead of "on se laisse " makes me feel that you're right
  17. I understand from different interviews that it was Valérie Lemercier's idea to conjugate "pour votre santé bougez plus" and she gave him a list of different exemples As he was asked if it was a joke he asked her again if it was ok , and it was. As the song is kind of a parody of some food advertising , maybe the journalist thought that " que nous bougeassions" was parodic too ? tbh I know " Ils eurent souhaité" but never eared "que nous bougeassions" before "Ils auraient souhaité que nous bougions" is the most used form imo
  18. They have cut the last one minute . Here is what I understand at the very end , but I'm realy not sure of the second line I guess that's the one that you're also missing .... Embrasse moi Ne me reviens pas ( or" Ne te retiens pas" ?) Regarde moi
  19. That's great! "En apparté" has a realy cool concept . I like it
  20. I have to admit that I expected much more from this song because the idea was cool. But .....honestly , as a French speaking person I feel like the "ique" rimes are quite weak . And they even had to finish a line with an English word to complete the "at" ones. I can't blame Mika because he's not French , but I'm quite disappointed that Doriand didn't find a better way for the concept as it seems that it was his idea Btw I think it was good that he wrote some songs with Carla De Coignac . I love very much all the songs she worked on
  21. I mean, all the lyrics of the album together, just like in a bucket, so we don't have to open several ones. But maybe there is a place I don't know for that outside of the forum?
