I like SCM for the diversity of the show, the culture that is brought to it; it represents a part of Mika's world.
On the other hand, since he was a showman in this show, he was much more in control of his image and the show.
Which I also didn't like in the early The Voice where he changed his attitude as soon as the camera was on him! ^^
In X Factor It, I found him much more in emotion and letting go (perhaps because he had to focus on language rather than his image.).
His sincere friendship with Fedez must also play, since he had friendly support next to him and was therefore less defensive in the face of attacks he could perceive.
And with the members of his teams too, a stronger bond was forged, he was much more tactile and complicit; he showed more humanity in the face of their private life and the problems they might encounter. In short, I preferred this show because I saw Mika as more of a "human" fallible than a showman.

Yes, i agree. Also if I think that is very hard to decide how much of your personality you wanna show for a ..'the whole world'.. Yes would be ideal 'being always yourself' but why shall i show everything for so many people sitting front of the television with whom i will never meet, never contact. Thats right we want emotions to see he is also a human who can fall down on the floor, and who has the same problems, and who is weak too. But I think the question is: Is it possible to be honest, also if you don't share everything, you control...? It is not easy I guess.

I think he would like to be as natural as possible. He often said that in interviews. To be the same in private than in public. But for me it's just impossible to realize. He is a public person and you can't be natural when you have the camera on you. .. Just like me when I am in The Voice recordings. Mika is watching us sometimes (no, not Big Brother ). And we are in a audience. We have to show our best sides...
