Beautiful man in a beautiful place. :cloud:

Odd to see him in a disposable mask, doesn't he usually wear cloth ones? Maybe he forgot to pack one.  :lol3:

I don't know the rules in Italy but for example here you can only wear either a respirator (it's even obligatory inside) or a surgical/disposable mask (only outside). At the beginning we used to wear cloth face masks too but not anymore.

No. It was at Palau St Jordi. Mika has performed there several times. 5000 people attended the concert you are talikng about and  only 6 people tested positive, four of which were not infected at the concert. That's good.

Thanks, I wasn't sure because from the pics I've seen I couldn't recognise if it's inside or outside. But it seemed to me that the social distancing wasn't as strict, the only difference to a "regular gig" were the face masks.

I wondered if they'd do that, probably leaving a free seat between attendees for safe distancing. Fingers crossed we can get some tickets!

I hope so, also maybe the restrictions will change until October. I expected face masks and a negative test or vaccination certificate - I think that would be enough to open the whole venue but who knows... :dunno: I don't know if you've seen the experiment in Barcelona, they had face masks but the place was still quite crowded and the result was fine, no transmission. However, I think it was an open air gig.

That's a great idea, I'd be happy to share with others. It would be nice to have some company from experienced fans, as I'd be there by myself. I was also thinking of staying a couple of nights, as it'd be my first time in Paris and would be nice not to feel rushed.

What I usually do is arrive the day before the concert and leave the day after, in this case it would be 3 nights in Paris  and since you do not have to queue, you can take advantage and visit the city if as you say it will be your first time there.

That would be my plan too, I've never been to Paris before so I'd like to stay the whole weekend (arrive on Friday and leave on Monday).

So more important question to keep on dreaming; what are we wearing??????

I even thought about that! :lmfao: I would probably wear my red polka-dot dress, it has long sleeves so it's quite festive and suitable even for spring/fall weather (with a red cardigan) and I wear it for special occasions even though in summer I also wear it sometimes just as a "normal spring/summer dress". :biggrin2:

There are a few Aparthotels near the venue that look cheap, has anyone stayed in one?

No but I also took a look at the hotels or apartments near the venue yesterday (I know, it's a bit early but I was so excited... :teehee:) and it would be great if maybe some of us who are interested could share a room because often the total price was almost the same for 1-2 persons as for 3-4... So it would be much cheaper for one person if more of us could share the costs. Even though I would probably have to stay more than one night, it's a bit too far away for me to stay only one night... Yeah I know, not even the tickets are available yet but I love the planning. :biggrin2:

It is true. I wonder if I'll be able to travel then

I know but I guess I didn't expect such an announcement so soon... It came out of nowhere for me. I hope I'll be able to travel because this would be a dream come true! I regretted not being at the symphonic concert in Como that also took place on my birthday. Now I have the feeling I got a second chance and I want to go so badly...

I already thought it was naughty enough that I sometimes hear "harder" instead of "hotter" in "Ice Cream",

I always think this one is a bit on purpose because there's no way he wouldn't notice the similarity when he stress the word like this, it's too obvious... And considering the theme of the song, I just don't believe in coincidences. :biggrin2:

    Wednesday night:

This dream started with me in a large waiting room, and I was waiting for Mika! I wasn't alone in the room, it was an MFC exclusive area and other members were sat around with me and we were all excited to see him. A lot of us had brought special pictures of Mika for him to sign and I couldn't decide which of mine to use. To pass the time until Mika came a young lady started handing out the recent Tele 7 magazine, I decided then that I would get Mika to sign the cover of it! (I still really want that magazine irl by the way)
Mika then came into the waiting room with a team of people and sat down at the far end of the room behind a desk. His team didn't want us to all rush at once to meet him so we all had to wait our turn and queue up. I was really nervous because I've never met him before but everyone around me was really reassuring and said I'll be fine, but when it was my turn to meet him I couldn't talk because I was so nervous! At least I got my magazine signed! Also in the dream Mika was a bit younger and had much shorter hair.
After this meet and greet it was time to see him on stage. Mika and his team went through to another room and after a little while all the fans followed. It was a small theatre room and I managed to sit near the front! It wasn't really a full on Mika concert, it was similar to his Stasera Casa Mika show instead. He talked a little about himself and projects he's part of and then started inviting fans onto the stage with him. He asked me to join him too and again I was so nervous I couldn't stop shaking and found it really hard to talk. When he realised how I was feeling he gave me a big hug and said I could sit at the edge of the stage to watch his next performance. He went on to sing Stardust. The one thing I remember really vividly is that after he signed my magazine throughout the rest of the dream I kept holding onto its so tightly and refused to put it down anywhere 😅.

That's such a cute dream! But waking up afterwards and realizing it was just a dream must have been hard... :sweatdrop:

  11. I have to share today's dream. But I have to start with the background story first. I had my Spanish class today (on Zoom) and yesterday I got to bed quite late. And my brain knew I have to wake up before the class so I have enough time to prepare (eat breakfast, dress up, brush my teeths & hair so I don't look as bad on the camera etc. :teehee:). So that's what my brain made out of it:

I was sitting in a car, coming home from a long trip with my family, exhausted and tired. But I knew I have to be ready for my Spanish class. For some reason, there were no signs of the pandemic situation in the dream but the Spanish classes were still held online. I knew I have to come home early and make myself ready for it.

However, suddenly I was in a building that looked a bit like my old school building. (Without my family, I don't know where I left them but I was still exhausted from the trip). An epic storm was coming, the clouds behind the windows were black as ink and it should be one of the greatest storms in history. And I still had on my mind that I had to attend my Spanish class, even under these circumstances. I was in a hallway sitting on the floor next to the window with some other people, I grabbed a notebook (not mine), grabbed my Spanish textbooks out of nowhere and was searching for the link for the online session (took me some time till I found the right time).

Once I was finally online, not ready at all but at least in the online class, I realized there are far more people around me sitting on the floor. All of a sudden, I saw Mika sitting among these people right in front of me. Then he walked away and I saw there's a microphone standing in the middle of the hallway and Mika is going to have a gig right here, right now! Later he appeared again in the crowd and was worried if we are comfortable enough, so many people sitting on the floor. So I closed the laptop with the Spanish class still on and thought: "Who cares if I miss the Spanish class for once." :lol3:

(Unfortunately, that's the end, but I guess with this epic storm coming soon, the point is: If it's the end of the world, let's party with Mika and don't care about your Spanish class... :biggrin2:

  12. I don't think there will be a tour in the near future... But I'd love to see him wherever (in Europe) he might have a gig. I'm only afraid that you won't be able to travel without vaccination and I don't think I'll have a chance to get vaccinated anytime soon. So I hope I won't be in a situation where I'm unable to travel to a gig. But as I said, I don't see a tour coming soon.
