Although I've not tried Zalando yet, it's not on my usual radar, will check it later.

They have a lot of sales now, wide range of brands from cheap to expensive and an easy return policy so that's why it's one of the few online shops with clothes I like... However, I actually prefer to buy clothes offline. :biggrin2: But I haven't seen many nice dresses lately so I started to search online. I'm always nervous when I can't try it before and don't see the material etc. Photos aren't enough.

I'm going to be there! Even if I have to build a raft and paddle across the channel!

Just to be clear, the only part I found funny was this one, the rest is rather sad... :sweatdrop:

I'm glad that my only problem (apart from the pandemic situation of course which is still a huge worry) is if I should take the plane or bus and what dress I'm going to wear. I already returned one and today ordered another one...hopefully this time it will be a better fit. If not, Zalando is probably going to hate me and add me to their black list. :lmfao:

If things change by October is it possible that people with those tickets may be told that they aren't able to go?

No, I'm sure they can't do that, once they sell these tickets they can't take it back.

Also with reselling tickets on the ticket thread do I just need to change the names on the tickets and email them to the person?

    Yes, I'll do the same.

  4. I have a question regarding the tickets as I've never sold digital tickets before – is it possible to download them (I got the print at home option) and change the name somehow (even though I think we already discussed that the name doesn't matter...)? And is it a problem, if I want to sell just one ticket from my subscription?

The thing is that I've bought tickets for both nights in the subscription presale but yesterday I managed to get a second row chair for Saturday (I still can't believe it ) so now I have an extra ticket for Saturday.

Can you try to check if you can get your certificate on CovPass app? Since all the EU and EEA countries signed the political agreement and already tested the EU Gateway, I'm sure it will work. And since Germany started to provide de documents since June 1st, probably the system it's already functional

According to the website you posted above, my country is already using the system too. Today I've printed the certificate for my parents (they are 3 weeks after the first dose so they don't need AG test here anymore for work, restaurants etc.) and it looks like this sample I've found on the webpage of our ministry of health:

    OckovaciCertifikat-2-1

It looks slightly different than the sample you posted before but it seems valid in the EU. However, I think the app isn't ready yet.

I love the handbag!! I was totally overwhelmed when I was looking at (clutch) handbags, this one looks very nice and festive though.

The pumps are great! They are neutral and can go with any outfit. Are yours black like on the picture? Sometimes black looks too stern with colourful outfits, imo, unless you also wear something black (like pants). You could go with some colour there, or maybe a nude colour.

How tall are you if I may ask? I’m going to wear my 10cm heels, but I’m so short you still wouldn’t see me even if I would wear them :lol3: (I’m 1.60m)

Thank you, it was also on sale so that made the decision a bit easier... :lmfao:

Yes, they are black too, only the leather on the picture looks like suede (if I see it right) and mine aren't suede. I'm about 178 cm.

Tbh, I don't wear pumps often so I don't want to buy new shoes just because of the colour... :teehee: So I hope black is fine.

Did you buy a small clutch or a bigger handbag?

Yesterday I bought a fancy tote bag :teehee: figured if there still won’t be a wardrobe in October, I might as well get a big bag to fit all of it in! (Umbrella, wrap, what else? :lol3:)

Rather a small one (but not too small):

I have a couple of nice handbags, even smaller ones but none of them is an "evening envelope clutch" (actually I have a very old one but some rhinestones are missing and you can only wear it in your hand which is quite impractical, I prefer cross body bags). And I thought that a metallic handbag makes even an "ordinary" outfit more fancy. :teehee: And I can wear the same accessories on both evenings.

Of course this one wouldn't fit to the "golden" outfit which I considered earlier but then I thought it might be a bit too summery after all... And in case of bad weather, I might consider wearing black trousers with some more festive top. Also, I'm still considering buying that purple dress with long sleeves I posted earlier.

Btw, do you think that half open pumps with low heels (as a tall person I don't like high heels :biggrin2:) are suitable? Something like this (I didn't find the same I have, these are a bit different but the shoe type is the same):

Hello, I have booked with free cancellation "A.R.T hotel". It's apparently a 10 min walk but I'm single and a young woman so I don't want to travel alone at this time.

Could someone who has booked in this hotel or next door walk with me?

Or is it someone who goes to this hotel by car?

Or else book a taxi together?

If someone is willing to accompany me to another hotel, I can change but for a cheap hotel.

Thank you for helping me 🤞

I think I've booked the same hotel (Art Hotel Paris Est) and I'm in the same situation as you. But I'm also considering an Airbnb with other fans instead because I've read that the location isn't the safest...

If I have to stay in the hotel because I still don't know if an Airbnb works out, I'd be happy to share a taxi/uber. Are you going to both gigs or just Saturday/Sunday?

    I understand you, @giraffeandy

For now, I took the "campanile" Paris 19, it seems it's not bad.  I'm not afraid of the metro I already took when I was in school trip, and it's not very away from the gare de l'est where I will arrive so it's ok... But I'm also afraid to walk at night for going at the hotel, even if I will be with my dad. You think we can book a taxi even for a so short distance ? I never took taxi before... I have absolutely no idea oh how it works...

It's not like if I spent all my life as the country girl and I know nothing about big cities... :fisch:

I was also considering this hotel! Looks nice. I have to say that I actually live in a city all my life but that doesn't mean that I'm not afraid walking alone at night. Luckily, there aren't any areas in my city where I'd be afraid walking by day but I'm rather cautious in foreign cities where I don't know which places are "safe".

I already thought I'm the only one who considered to use Airbnb to sleep in Pairs. :lmfao:

But I haven't yet thought about where I want to sleep in the city. :original:

I would also consider to share with someone, @giraffeandy.

I was also considering Airbnb but as I didn't know if I'd found enough people to share (or any people at all :teehee:), I was searching rather on booking.com. But Airbnb would be a good option too, if there are more people interested in sharing an appartment. I suppose most of us are staying for 3 nights in Paris?

You’re probably worried about the travel towards the hotel I assume? And how late is late?
Since there are many young travelers who have the same kind of worry, maybe there is a way to connect and also arrange for a group to pick you up at point X? I’m just brainstorming here. Would you feel more comfortable with that?

I still don't know but I was checking the possible flights and I could arrive either at 22:35 (CDG) or I could take the morning flight and arrive at 10:15 (Orly), both on Friday... I haven't decided yet which option is better. By day I'm not that scared but being at midnight in an unknown suburb area, looking for a hotel, feels a bit scary... :sweatdrop:

Pantin and the northern part of Paris is not the bestplace  of the town , but I sometimes stayed there with friends and it was ok . To come back alone is another story , I probably would not try .

Next to the "Mercure" you can find an "Ibis" which is cheaper and you probably would be able to cancell if you book with "booking.com" for example

A bit further but inside Paris you can find a good youth hostel with dormitories called "Générator" . Again with the Covid , not sure if it's open or not.

In général be carefull with low prices hotels in Paris . They may be dirty .....or worse...

Tbh, I wouldn't feel comfortable in a shared room (and/or bathroom) with many strangers, that's why I'm looking for hotels but most of them offer only double rooms which makes it even more expensive for one person. Even the room I've booked so far (but I can still cancel it without fees) is a double/twin room. The few single room options I've found near the venue were quite awful. And I do look at the ratings on booking.com and ignore everything with a rating under at least 7.
