    I am also pretty sure that he feels relieved. I’ve endured (racist) bullying myself from a teacher when I was 10 years old. Although it’s been years and I have long overcome the anger and struggles that it had given me, if I would hear that the institution that made this despicable behaviour possible would be held accountable, it would lift a small weight off of my chest. It’s small; but it’s there. And yes. The way they respond to “being afraid of their image” and “subscription fees” really is very telling… and it doesn’t surprise me, that THAT seems to be their main concern and not necessarily the welfare of the children.

    Wow. Weren’t we suggesting to possibly reach out to the school to see what kind of anti-bullying programs they had installed? Well, they sure never did… this is so sad. How many kids have had to endure trauma that could’ve been prevented, all those decades… I’m speechless. This hurts both my fan- and my mum-heart. Although I do think Mika has made peace with his past through his music, I wonder if he will feel a bit of relief that justice is being served right now. Not only to him, but to EVERYONE that has gone to that school and has had a horrible experience.

    Someone is very quiet lately! Other than posting new announced dates and videos, there is no „Good morning from [wherever in the world he may be]!” I think he had some downtime and is now working hard in the studio (in Paris), to finish his album(s) before the gig fever will start again in April. I also think he may be invited to interviews in and around Eurovision (I would LOVE him to appear on Graham Norton, he will be such a witty and knowledgeable guest to have and Graham will absolutely let him do that!), since there is a gap between Cheltenham and the Japan/Korean gigs around that time. It’s now just the quiet before the storm

    It’s a different festival, but it’s not too far away from Knokke-Heist where he was last year. This one is more to the south: pretty much exactly between Knokke and Calais.

    They have replied on my comment on Instagram, saying they are indeed waiting for Mika’s confirmation. So we have to wait!

    Mika in Belgium!!!! He can practice his Dutch again, I AM SO EXCITED!!! I saw that he is not mentioned yet on the official website. And it’s not clear what date he is going to be there, either. So I just wrote them under the post asking for this. To be continued!

    Oh wow, this is worrisome. Mika has several musicians that make up his band, not all of them have an UK passport. It’s likely he will probably resort more to them if visas become a problem while touring. Also one of his UK band members lives in France, which makes the visa issue within Europe at least not as a big of a deal.
