    Exactly, it's not a song that needs deep examination of the lyrics. What's important is the feeling it imparts. It's like, you're in that dreamspace where you're on a natural high with your lover, and nothing and nobody is going to break into that, you become your own protective bubble. For the next few minutes there's nothing to worry about except you and me and the way we make each other feel. After the song, I feel like I'm waking up and coming back to reality. It's a beautiful dream of love.

    Ok I've now listened to it loud with headphones (on my works pc ). I LOVE it. It feels like a warm hug and puts a dreamy smile on my face while carrying me away to a dreamland and making my hips swing. The message is very Mika - who cares about what's happening or what they think, we're alive, so let's love and f♡♡♡ and dance and enjoy it in the moment, an affirmation of life. But done in a very gentle, loving way. His voice is so warm, honestly I'm melting. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

    It's 1.30am, I don't have headphones so had to listen on a very quiet setting on my phone so as not to wake the neighbours BUT... I LOVE IT!! It's dancy, and dreamlike, and fiery, full of defiant love. I can't wait to listen on full volume to appreciate it properly!!

    Sorry, completely off topic, but you've just reminded me, I was once following a recipe translated into English by the chef, and he advised us to use "3 cups of flowers". He meant flour of course. It wouldn't have been the same with a bunch of daisies in it! Ok, back on topic...

    Well yes, it would be serious. His world has been rocked, he's trying to find his way forwards through the grief. There's also a sense of impermanence and isolation in the picture, with his world condensed into an unstable cloud and the great unknown surrounding him. Lost in the clouds, looking for his anchor. Or his rock. We can tell all is not right - the lines are hazy not solid, the colours are bright yet somehow muted, as if not being seen clearly. The colours and flowers are life, inspiration, everything he needs to bloom, and he's putting on a good show, but he's seeking to reconnect with them. In some ways I'm reminded again of Le Petit Prince, alone on his little world, seeking to comprehend the universe. But again, that's just my interpretation. Be interesting to hear his explanation, if we get one. ------------------- Joke answer, and reverting to type: with the yellow glow behind him, maybe he's telling us the sun really does shine out of his .

    Funny, I don't see it that way at all. To me it's like he's floating his way through life on his fluffy cloud, trying to make sense of things, maybe feeling some destabilisation when forced to question all you thought you knew about the universe, what came before, what comes after, quite ethereal... And the pose and colours remind me of trance and meditation, reflecting inner soul searching to seek peace and find the way forward. It has a 'what now' feeling to it. Yeah, I can read a lot into one image. Watch it be completely wrong!
