    Not quite. She said some singers think everyone can sing. He said no, it's not true. She said he's the first to tell her. And she's had coaches. He said there are those who shouldn't. She said she was one of them. He asked her to try, and agreed with her. @mellody I think he was talking about people trying to sing professionally, rather than as a hobby or for personal enjoyment - of course everyone has the right to do that. But sometimes, the auditions they've had on X factor - oof, no, honey, wrong career move. And then it's up to people like him to let them down, which is never easy and probably gets grating after a while. So better to be open and honest up front, rather than misleading people with false hope. That's my take on it anyway - I don't think he was being "not nice" or deliberately hurtful, just honest. His integrity wouldn't let him be blasé about it, it's too close to his heart.

    A few people have mentioned similarities between CLV, AC and JB. I'm not getting that the songs are the same. To me, there is a thematic similarity, there is a definite sound to them that I think will be distinctive to the album as a whole, for the concept. But they are each their own, individual songs, with their own intentions. You watch, the rest of the album will be completely different now. I noticed something similar with a few songs on MNIMH, at the end when the music finished there was one background note or 'sound' that continued, as if it was leading into the next song. I wondered if he intended that as a thread connecting all the songs, but then changed it as it's not on all of them. It's definitely there on Tomorrow and Dear Jealousy, can't remember the others just now.

    Yes he likes to take his decor with him to make himself at home - the big white orchid comes to mind. I think he said he even took a sofa to his dressing room! I guess it depends on how long he plans to be there.

    Thank you for this! I've just been reading up on symptoms of iron deficiency and it sounds spot on. It even mentioned restless legs, which I get sometimes. I've been taking a multivitamin tablet for a few days in case my B12 was low, it has iron too so that might explain the little energy rush this morning. Didn't last long, but it was nice to feel semi normal again for a while!

    Over 4 weeks ago now, I came down with a nasty bug/virus that completely knocked me off my feet. Apart from the coughing, sneezing, catarrh, dizziness, brain fog, mild nausea etc, I was completely exhausted. I spent 2 weeks in bed, it took me all my energy just getting up to feed my cat, bless her. Week 3 went back to work, but still exhausted, could barely concentrate. Week 4, still coughing, still dealing with catarrh, still feeling like I'm not fully breathing so having to stop mid sentence to catch my breath, still feeling my heart pounding after exerting myself, still extremely tired, energy comes in fits and starts and disappears just as quickly. Last time I remember feeling like this was after major surgery! Plus it's put me into a low mood, had a couple of panic attacks at home and cried at work (not for the usual reasons...). I did a covid test, it was negative, but it was in the 2nd week so maybe it was wrong? Rang the doctor, they want to check if I'm deficient in anything, so have booked me in on Friday for a blood test, and also an ECG, and we'll take it from there. So, fingers crossed! Can't deny it's worried me, I kind of hope I am deficient in something, at least that's an easy fix. If anyone says deficient in brains, I'll... I'll.... probably agree.

    Kind of, but they do it on Saturday Kitchen, and C'a Vous. That's why I wasn't sure if it meant join the audience or actually join the table. Now I wonder how big the table will be... Absolutely. He'd probably make sure you were swimming in champagne!

    I nearly forgot. When she said about Manchester, I said I had tickets for London and Dublin. She said "Oh wow, you're going all the way to Dublin to see him?!" Ummm... yeah... after half of Europe. And the USA.

    Lol, as if that would ever happen! Cough, ahum. This makes me think of Karin's suggestion in the birthday ideas thread, for an app with all of his lyrics on. One QR code, go to the lyrics app, start typing the song title or key lyric into the search and up it pops? But then, everyone would need to download the app...

    It certainly looks relaxed, and he seems comfortable. But there is some jostling going on. What I've noticed a few times at different events, and again here, are the people shuffling around to keep in front of him, even after he's spoken to them. That's not fair on the others waiting their turn.
