    Yup. Was one of my favourites too, was doing well, thought I'd finally cracked it. Plants I have known: 😓 Sansevieria Peace lily Umbrella plant Kentia palm Boston fern Zebra plant Coleus Cyclamen Poinsettia Phalaenopsis orchids Dendrobium orchid Cat grass Spider plant Conversely, the overgrown brambles, ivy, nettles, thistles, hypericum and herb Robert in my back garden are refusing to die off. Or behave.

    Sounds like we need a plants thread too. 🪴🌵🌴🌳🌲🌿🌱 I love them, but do not have the touch to keep them going for long. I even managed to kill off a sansevieria, which is meant to be pretty much bullet proof.

    Yes, the website states that the reserved area has its own bar and direct acces to the dance area.

    Even already knowing his background, that was a tough watch. I am so proud of him, his honesty and bravery, his wish to help others facing the same issues, and the way he is dealing with it. ❤️❤️❤️ I love him so much. And yes, I just want to hug him.

    Just got home from work, looking forward to a tasty hot coconut, chilli and turmeric soup to help shift this virus. Only 4 mins in the microwave. *Ding* Took it out... stone cold. Tried again just in case I'd put it on a daft setting... Nope. I thought I heard it make a strange noise last time I used it. That'll be why then, it's busted!

    I wonder if the MFC can play a part here? Maybe if members run a SM campaign tagging the AC tour, saying how much they're looking forward to seeing him perform the new French songs, the word might get around a bit more? Also a bit of queue walking and chatting to randoms on the day, might help to prepare people who might not have realised that he's likely to sing in French? If anyone has time/resources/inclination, maybe we could pass out translation sheets with the English lyrics, so they can understand it? Or just a note with a qr code to scan, to go to the translated lyrics? Just spitballing, might not be feasible.

    Ooh, new game. Go into a random thread, post about food, and see how long it takes Michelle to find it. Re Duolingo, yes it's structured around earning xp (experience points) which are awarded per lesson completed. The more xp you accumulate in a week, the higher up the rankings you go. The rankings progress through a series of leagues (bronze, gold, emerald, diamond etc), with the top scorers on the leaderboard moved into the next highest league at the weekly tally. BUT... you don't need to take any notice of it. It doesn't affect the lessons or your learning path. Competitive people might like it as it helps drive them, but for a lot of users it's just a nice little visual aid to track your progress.

    I don't understand why they need different online stores by country. Surely they just need one shop selling all merch?

    Not so much "heard in the wild", but at work I usually have the office to myself after 5pm. For that last hour, to help de-stress, you bet I turn up the volume on the pc and play Mika. We do still have students milling around in the big hall corridor outside doing a lecture changeover, so anyone walking past is going to hear it. Recently they'll think I'm giving a class in French songs - EMD, BBB, CLV, AC, JPE... and also Zaz "Je Veux", Jain "Come", and Indila "Dernier Danse". All of which are part of my Mika world, as I was introduced to them by following him.
