Episode 5 - the final chapter!!!

 

Then..........the most mind blowing awesome thing happened - the

lights came up, the big blue globe appeared, the beautiful Sarah

appeared out of it, danced some - then WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mika's

voice and his body appeared on stage!!!! I was filming this

at the time, but was quite far away, so don't know how good it will be.

I was struck dumb (reading all this, you won't believe that, or will wish

it would happen again!! ) and frozen in a state of pure and

utter joy!! I could not believe how much stage presence he has. The set

list is apparently the same as Europe - I don't know - I was just laughing,

crying and singing all at the same time. I phoned Beckar during Ring Ring, which I never really liked before - but do now!!!!! I then phoned Martine during HMDYLM - that was brilliant. He was amazed that so many of us knew the words - and the look of surprise and happiness on his face

when he directed the microphone to the audience was lovely to see!!

In one song - I don't know which one - he did an extended hip-thrusting

movement..........well!!!!................I am still surprised I did not end up

in hospital with severe palpitations. That guy took sexy to a new all time

high level I physically slumped in my wheelchair, and the

lovely Jemma hugged me from behind, and checked that I was ok. I

dont think I will ever be OK again after that!!!!!!

The air felt charged with electricity all through the concert - and I had

the petition nestled by my left hip all the way through.

I knew I HAD to get it to Mika - regardless!! He just looked so relaxed,

but pumped up at the same time! Love Today was stunning for lots of

reasons. He was whipping the audience up into a frenzy - and at one

point I thought the balcony above my head was going to come down!!

What an entertainer!!

The show was over in a mass of confetti - and it even reached me (and

landed in both my wheelchair, and my Coke!!!)

We stayed inside, all the MFC'rs gathering together - but we were told

we had to leave. I had hoped maybe Mika would have come back in to

get the petition - some of the lassies had told him I had something for him.

However, Kath pushed me round to the back door, and we waited in the rain.

Jon, his manager, was wandering about so I asked him if I would get a

chance to give the petition to Mika, and he said he though it would be ok.

Cherisse and Sarah left quite quickly, they are so lovely - but didn't get

a picture as my camera was playing up!!

Then - Mika came out......................

 

And then Wendi? Then.... Don't be cruel with me!!!

Episode 6 - the "I ran out of smilies chapter"!!!!!

 

Mika worked his way along the line - Charlotte the only one he got a picture

with I think. He was all snuggled up in a scarf, and a lovely colourful

hoodie (Rose - go buy ANOTHER one!!! )

He was under a purple umbrella (ella,ella,a,a,a) and then he was there,

right in front of me. I held out the petition book, and as I started to tell

him what it was, he said "Oh - the official fan club book" or words to

that effect. He was like "Wow" and started looking through it. I was

blabbering on like an idiot - telling him all the signatures were genuine,

they could all be checked out etc He looked at me and smiled - and

all memories of conversation stopped right there!!!! I asked him to sign

my dvd, which he did, and then he smiled and moved on!!! Kath had my

camera, but it was obviously star struck too - because it only filmed a

couple of very short clips!!! Robi and Abby have it on film though

so you should be able to get a more accurate account of "that" moment

when they post the videos.

Getting back to the hotel after he drove away was fun!! We manage to

get a bus, talked to some girls who had been at the concert, and

told them about MFC, and that they should join. We eventually made it

with Kath just keeping her trousers up!!

We all met up in the bar at the hotel - and chatted, and buzzed for ages.

It was a very late night - then a 9am breakfast. We had planned that

everyone come down in their PJ's - but only Robi and I did, but Deb

did have her "sweats" on, which she had slept in, so that kinda counted!!

Bit by bit everyone left, then it was just Deb, Tootch and I. We went to

M & S so they could get some bits to take home, then I noticed the time.

We raced to the train station, and I got on with 2 minutes to spare!!!

 

Thanks to everyone who made the weekend so memorable.

What a great bunch of people, I enjoyed meeting you all, and

spending time with you. Its been a weekend I will not forget.

 

The cherry on the cake will be if the petition works - and we become

official. But - if it doesn't - Mika and his management all know who are

Sorry I was such a crap wheelchair pusher, I'll try harder next time! But it was a bit of an adventure in the end wasn't it! You gotta laugh or we would have been crying.

The upside of it for me was that it gave me the opportunity to get to know you a bit better, so every cloud and all that!

well. i finally finish reading all about this week-end and the conclusion is that was one of a hell. i'm so happy that wendy managed to give mika the petition book and our hopes maybe will become reality.
