Thank you for the swift answer to my inquiry. I am not clear on whether a "winner" is ever determined or announced. Can you please elaborate. For example, was a "winner" ever determined for CY 2007? Is there actually a beginning and end for what you term "annual?" I have the voting links for the polls in FRANCE, the UK & SPAIN, but I cannot seem to find them for the polls you mention on the German and Italian sites of the magazine. Will you please send me the internet computer links for the "Sexiest Man on the Planet Polls" in GERMANY & ITALY? Also, as a matter of interest, is it possible to get an idea of how many readers/subscribers the magazine has-- either total, or by the affiliations in various countries? I need to communicate to the MIKA FAN CLUB soon about their participation in the polls and need a bit more information to do that. MIKA is a singer-song writer & international performer who enjoys a broad fan base with members from many countries. With the (vague) information now available, I am concluding that the primary benefit(?) may be that--with the broad exposure the magazine apparently has-- every time a reader/subscriber opens the three voting links (we have been participating in,) they see for themselves that MIKA is way ahead of ALL the others! Just out of curiosity, I would like to see the voting links for the purported polls in GERMANY & ITALY -- to see MIKA's standing where we did not participate, as a fan club, in the voting. For the life of me, I cannot find the links on the web! That's why I asked for the voting links from the Rep. I have yet to receive any response to the follow-up e-mail. I did not start this activity, but I've been a "cheerleader," no doubt, so I felt a responsibility to get adequate responses to your very reasonable questions about the polls. The following 2 posts is what I've been able to eek out! Based on these, you can decide whether, or not, you want to continue the activity. My thought is that if there is a poll, to determine the sexiest (or whatever) man, or woman, there should be a conclusion, and an article about the winner. This is the real reason I voted anyway. Mika is sexy, but what I wanted for him, was extra publicity for his music's sake, to maybe get him even more fans. I think it's a disgrace that the Sofeminine, and the foreign counterparts, did not acknowledge Mika's success in the polls! IMO, these polls are not worth it.
