It was great - its all locals, of all ages, doing basic Scottish dances, then when the bells sound at midnight, we all link hands, sing Auld Lang Syne and then kiss everyone Happy New Year. I bet it was hard keeping quiet! But I was so glad that everyone was quiet so I got a surprise, it was by far the best Christmas present - and I have a wee photo album book with pictures in that Mum made for me with all the pictures of the people I will see in Feb!
