Mika's ticket to quick fame and fortune in the US is to have public lover's spats with Lindsay Lohan or get caught drunk driving with Paris Hilton. That's what gets attention in the US unfortunately. I have been pimping Amy Winehouse and Mika to as many Americans as will listen and no one paid any attention to Amy until she started going downhill. Suddenly she was a household name in the US even though her album had been out for months. I post on another board and with the exception of two or three other music lovers, my posts about Amy Winehouse and other British artists were ignored. Mika is too clean and well behaved for the majority of the papers!! Well, long may it continue - he can prove you don't need to be a drunk or a smack-head to do well!! Kavi Posted February 11, 2008 Share Posted February 11, 2008 I watched the Grammy from the red carpet till the end of the awards....i almost died of excitement when i saw mika on the red carpet and when they spoke to him...i took pics but they came out crappy from the tv and the worst part is the local channel that showed it showed so many bleeping ads that i think the best dance category showed during an advert cause i didn't see it He looked sooo sexy. That photo shoot he did in San Francisco is one of the best ever and he looked fantastic last night. The NRJ thing was not working for me at all.
