The Oldlings Thread (Part 11)

See I can't offer advice as I don't know your mum or you and the last thing you want to do is annoy her as that could close the door for good.

Study all your options. Find out her concerns and try to show her things that can make those concerns less.

I do say less as mums don't lose all concern.

Diana - he is a beautiful lad!!! :wub2:

Bellatrix - I cant see the ladies of the church sitting round

knitting those for Easter!!!! :roftl: :roftl:

:roftl:

I'll be sitting on my couch knitting a bunch and sending them to you all for a right laugh. We can bring them to shows as an 'official mark of the knitters' :naughty:

He is. :wub2:

Brilliant actor too. He never should've done Titanic, he could've been like Johnny Depp.. Appreciated for the artist that he is instead of a blockbuster actor and teenage heartthrob.

His pre-Titanic movies are absolutely brilliant and quite quirky.

Most of the post-Titanic stuff is rubbish.

Good night Wendi! Sleep well!!

omg :lmao: And we all wear them as hats (with string and it tied around our chins) to a concert :lmfao::lmfao:

:roftl: Why did I just get this amazing image of us wearing them on our chins in the pouch, and then it tied over our head so they'd be sticking out? We could keep our change in it!:roftl:

Back frm dinner -- restaurant was too crowded, so we got pizza instead.

Who would think it would be that busy here in a sleepy seaside town in

the middle of February? But it's a holiday weekend (President's Day on Monday)

so maybe people are taking the extra time off down here...

Anyhow...

Won't comment on your knitting apparel...

but did want to say...

Totally agree with you on this Diana -- What's Eating Gilbert Grape was

just brilliant, but Titanic was a misstep.

But Blood Diamond and The Departed... he's starting to redeem himself,

I think :thumb_yello:

Yeah that one was amazing! I simply love Leo.

And I agree with you on him redeeming himself, it was about time too!

Was the blood diamond scary!?! [larkin can't handle scary movies she practically had a ceizure when the cat died in the brothers grimm]

It had its moments -- maybe not scary so much as intense, and definitely

not a happy ending... :(

Yeah... That's a nice wake up call. :das:

Morning Oldlings! Sorry for not saying goodnight, I went offline quite suddenly, I was so tired... Slept until 9.15 when someone turned on the radio quite loud in this house but that was OK.

It's a beautiful sunny day again (only a bit cold), what about where you live?
