The arts library at my uni (what I call the library... the other library I visit is the 'education library' also has a reserve section where you can either go in and read/study the books, or hire a book for 3 hours. It can't leave the library and you get fined per the minute its late (but I think its only like 10c) Thats where all the really popular books, and textbooks hang. Our library is small so all of our books are one-week loan except from really old editions that you wouldn't bother with anyway. The reserve/3 hour loans are fined by the hour at a rate of $5 so if you're even a few minutes late you get charged for that hour. What's worse is that since they're renovating the real library we're using a temporary venue with only two tables and about 40 computers. For the rest of the year. And a small library with only week long loans. I have a habit of writing passable essays off some of the older books so that I don't incur the week long loan fines. Work education (playing OH&S games onthe computer), English (listening to speeches), music (self explanatory), phototography (also self explanatory) and maths (in which we just listened to the teacher talk about what we need to know for the exam tomorrow)! Because we can't make frames like that? : P We have to use mat board and cut it out with a mat board cutter and it has to be perfect. Takes foreverrrr and carrying the cutter is heavy and you can't walk through doors like normal because it's too long. Also the mat board costs money. All in all I dislike making the frames.
