This thread if for if you have ever watched a movie and said "I have to tell everyone about it". or "this movie sucks" so what you post here is: the Title/name of the movie: main actors: (if applicable) why you liked it/disliked it: short review: raiting: /5 it doesnt have to be long...just enough for us to get the picture of what its about if we havent seen it, and make judgement on whether we want to see it ourselves! Ill start! Title: Cry baby Actors: Johnny depp, Iggy pop Short description: the movie is about the squares and drapes around 1954 with rock n roll music and big cars! Eisenhower is president, rock n roll is king, and cry-baby walker is the baddest hood in his highschool What I liked about it: I liked the fairness of the film, and I feel that the characters were portrayed in an idealistic light! The son will try to differentiate between reality and the imaginary. Why I liked it : I identify a lot to the main character (in feminine version....), I love the Director Tim Burton...and there're two movies in one : a realistic and a fairy tale. musicfreak Posted May 19, 2008 Share Posted May 19, 2008 title: Kabhi Alvida Naa Kahna Actors: Shahrukh Khan and (i think) Kajol Short Description: well it's about these two indian couples living in new york, somehow one of the husbands meets the wife of the other couple. and they keep bumping into each other. then they become 'best friends' but really in love. so it's a whole saga of if they should stay married w/ there original partners or should get married themselves. the endings great. i won't give it awy though! why i like it: well i do love bollywood movies, but this one is easier to relate to b/c if i remember correctly it's set in NY Rating: 5/5 i've seen lots of bollywood movies, but this is byfar my fav. He is transfered to the countryside to the safest village in England. Murders start to happen and everyone thinks they are accidents because of the low crime rate there. (I can't tell you anymore without spoiling the ending) Like it or not? Loved it. It's a great comedy but can be a bit gruesome. Gritty, harsh, discomforting and bleakly existential, with a surprisingly upbeat ending. A socially disconnected Vietnam vet, suffering from insomnia and misanthropy, who spends his free time in porno theaters, takes a job as a taxi driver to help him pass nights. Okay well it's supposed to be a thriller so a girl's fears retyurn to haunt her that night. What I liked about it: I liked the fact that it was somewhat realistic so there weren't any imaginary creatures like there usually is in horror movies. Raiting: 3 Title: August rush Actors: Robbin Williams...and others Short description: It's about music and the past of a young orphan. What I liked about it: It was magical.. and hopeful..
