Hahaha...that might be kind of weird. You should definately keep the compliement...because it's true. And if it ever comes up in conversation you can say "someone I know..." haha

 

Haha, I use that "someone I know" or "this friend I have" to describe MFCers all the time :P

 

modern art from the museum i had visited the day before, another one inclded a red plank perched against the wall, i thought they were doing remodeling, but then i saw a little tag by it announcing that the title of the piece was "red plank"..........

lol. no it didn't! one time i wrote in my sketch book "art in everything" and everytime i have to flip past it cuz it's the stupidest thing i've ever written!

I walked up to that orange sqaure and was like "what in the hell is this supposed to be?!?" It said not to touch any of the art but I was a bad girl and went ahead and poked that orange sqaure...in part because it looked real stupid compared to some of the great sutff I saw in other areas

this...black canvas....portrays the complete feeling of emptiness and longing inside and individual. it uses imagery to show those times in life where you have nowhere to turn, but much walk blindly forward, left or right. The mix of emotions shining through this piece are those of the darker, more serious side. It's dark tones represent the deepness inside and individual, where the escape is nowhere to be found.

 

deep, i know. but those blank canvases can really strike a tone.

I'm glad you like the pictures though, that iris one was taken at a really pretty garden in town.

i guess i'll go with "it was 7am when i typed it."- never trust what i say at 7am.

 

the pic kind of creeps my out though. I've had dreams in sepia and inverse color before and its soo creepy.

Cool thread. I'm starting to do a Photography A Level in September which is going to be cool. I need to get a camera though - i only have a digital one right now, and the course only includes a bit of that.

 

I like everyone's photos in here! they're really good.

Awww thank you so much Oakie Doke!:blush-anim-cl: The little girl is my sister, she's amazing to work with, because of her facial expressions and well, she's 7 and a true doll to work with! She never complains and is always satisfied with the result no matter how bad my pics are in my opinion!

 

And the coffee cups ones happened so randomly...I thought it was gonna be a mess in the end but they happened to be my most popular pics! :blink:

hahahahaha The colors are so you could tell which comment i was referring to, but i think i'll type in bright colors from now on anyways, bring on the rainbows. I think "super special" is lacking an adjective, it just feels like it needs something more *contemplates*

Umm, well my camera is pretty great, so I can't take all the credit for the good colors..it depends on the white balance you use,but for those I just used whatever my camera was set on. I do, do some post editing, but only with lighting and stuff on a lame photo- editor thing..
