Lucy Posted June 30, 2009 Share Posted June 30, 2009 A lot of dedication . Well, to be honest, as I explained a few times when people say "oh, you're so lucky, etc", it's not so much luck. I am by no means rich or well off. I have a normal well enough paid job, but I don't spend a lot of money for example going out, or buying fancy clothes, or tons of makeup, hairdresser, don't get manicures, etc, etc... I know a good amount of people who spend a lot in these type of things and then say that they don't have money. It's just about what you use your money on, that's all. Traveling to follow Mika and see MFC friends makes me very happy, so I choose to make it my priority over other things. A night out here in London can cost a LOT of cash for example, if you go out to eat and drink and then need to get a cab home, etc.... so if one doesn't do it that often for example you are saving quite a bit. Coupled with that, if you get cheap flights or cheapish, and share rooms with people, it doesn't cost that much more to go and see a gig in Europe than a couple of nights out in London town would . You are right!! I started my saving account this week. Hopefully I get to save enough money to slowly start going to see him more than one time. In 2007 I got to go to two and it was awesome!! Going to concerts is wayyyyyyyyyyyy better than shopping and manicures! At least for me. Oh Lucy, and it's Sara, not Sarah (said the Spanish way) oh ok. sorry:blush-anim-cl: Sara from now on. A video that someone took of (good) part of the chat that Mika had with us, where he attempted to explain the whole points thing, etc... If you listen very carefully you can make out most of the conversation. I recognise my voice quite a bit (why does it always seem like I speak A LOT in these situations and I don't even realise at the time ), and Melody's, and even Matteo if I'm not getting it wrong...Oh, and I can see Mana's head. I'm extremely happy to have found this, as I really wanted to hear the moment where I jokingly say "a private gig?" and he goes "ONE!! One private gig!" So...here it is ...
