Ditchy & Salty discovered loads about Mika when he joined them in the studio. The flamboyant singer told Ditchy & Salty that he had to be named Michael after a long line of Michaels on his father’s side. But his mum hated it and soon started to call him Mika instead. “It means ‘plastic bag’ in Moroccan,” Mika laughed. Ditchy & Salty also chatted to Mika about what inspired Big Girl... and showed him their fat photos to see what he thought. Of Salty Mika said: “You look really sweet.
