MIKA's October 2009 North American Tour

Do you guys think tickets will still be available Tuesday, Sep. 1 for the Oakland show? Or will they be sold out...? :boxed:

Because that's the first day I'd be able to buy one.

Well it's only 3 days after the public sale and it is a big venue. If it sells out anyway there are always spares to be had somewhere for gigs. I would think you'll be able to work something out.

*Faints*

OMG!!

*Faints again*

I do have to ask though, about how much will tickets run?

Is MIKA more in the moderate $20-60USD

Or he's a SUPERSTAR ($100+ USD)?

moderate, i think :] but more like 35-65$ but that depends on if its general admission, or assigned seating blah blah

Oooh in Chi-Town on my birfday....*pyramid fingers* but then there's Toronto...oh the possibilities... but honestly this makes my day. I really hope to meet some other people again!

Chicago + Mika concert + birthday = awewsomeness! :yay:

But Toronto is fantastic as well (of course I have no bias here :mf_rosetinted:). It might also mean we could exchange MMs without having to actually MAIL it to each other. :naughty:

But you live in the States, you have lots of options! :D

This venue isn't too far from the Kool Haus. I hope you can make it!

I've still got your flashing heart. Hope it still works. :teehee:

ohh not too far you say? well at least i'm slightly familiar with the area now and hey, i'll probably actually watch this show, unless, you know, he asks me to be Lady Jane and i can flop around onstage in fins...oo the possibilities... :naughty::teehee:

and oh my goodness, the heart! Thank you for keeping it for me! i'm quite excited :wink2: gah! maybe i'll just compromise and go to all of the concerts.....hmm

I completely agree with that first statement!

Epic fail. :naughty: Same here, box in my room...not like it's going anywhere. :)

NYC should be good as well. And Montreal. And...all of them. :mf_rosetinted: Hope you can make a decision soon. :naughty:

Philadelphia is listed as $29.50 and $32 plus whatever fees they decide to add.

Still thinking if this will work out for me.

Ahh, thanks.

Where are you getting the prices from? The ticket links don't show anything for me.

DCDeb, are you going to Philly this time?

I'm thinking about it, but leaning toward NYC. Philly is going to be

standing, NYC seated. I'm getting too old and crotchety to queue all day :wink2: so the seated venue better be *assigned* seats, not first-come

first-served!

Why are you thinking about Philly over NYC this time, Christina? NYC is

a Friday night, after all, Philly is a Sunday.

YES!!!!

This was my hope because I'm too old to queue all day and too claustrophobic because crushed in a crowd of people wanting to be at the front and adore Mika to be stuck in the back just because I'm claustrophobic.

I am giddy! :biggrin2:

Many of us who are older than you often queue all day so it's not so much an age thing :roftl: but I do wholeheartedly agree that it's MUCH, MUCH better not to have to queue and just walk into your seat after being able to have a "normal" day and socialise properly without all the stress and fighting that always happens at these GA gigs :naughty::thumb_yello:

Makes me wonder why queuing is such a chore for us. We're sitting around chatting for 8 hours - don't we do hang out like that with our friends on our backyard patio? Ha! We just need good chairs, water and a toilet.

Suzy your vision is clouded from that lovely day in June. Think back to January and December and you'll remember why queuing is such a chore. :naughty:

I remember :sneaky2: Plus queueing means rushing to get there on time or missing more days of work :wink2:

Unfortunately we don't have all those (plus nice weather) for all gigs. Plus, in my broad experience, there is ALWAYS an element of trouble involved and there is always something that sours the experience. So yes, I'm all for assigned seating now :biggrin2:.
