Yeah, that is my gripe with her exactly, that she tries to pass it for "this is who I am", when if one bothers looking at her stuff before she became famous, she was totally different back then. It's all put on. And fine, whatever, if people want to say: this is my stage persona, blabla, I can respect that, but not if they say that this is just "them", because it's a blatant lie. I think that she's great musically speaking, and her songs and shows are fantastic, but I'm also positive that if I met her she would annoy the crap outta me. Hmmm. i think he explains it really well in that interview what he sees in her. from how i understood it, he finds the crazy outfits and all only cool since he got to know her and knows what's behind it. i mean, everyone defines for themselves who they are, what personality they want to be... and who knows, maybe this craziness was in gaga's personality all along and she only got famous when she decided to let it out? i think the difference to others who aren't themselves is, that she wasn't made by someone in particular to do it (record company etc.), but she decided it herself and "created her own world", like mika says, and like he himself does, although in a very different way. she probably is happy with it, not like other celebrities, like mika mentioned in other interviews, who are made to pretend they're someone they're not. THAT is just sad. or maybe he just finds it interesting how long her "mask" will work... i mean, she is indeed very successful with it. anyway, he likes her because of her personality, because he got to know her, which we don't. i'm wondering whether he wrote "good gone girl" about her... he said it's about someone who does everything to be successful.
