His cover of La Solitude in Luxembourg. Thanks tiibet. :wub2:

(He talks for the first bit, and starts singing at around 3:16).

Beautiful :wub2:

I wish i understood french :(

I wanna hear what he said at the beggining and what the lyrics to the song are lol.

It's crazy live, isn't it? Like it's so good it almost defies the capability of human ears to process it. :blush-anim-cl:

yes that IS a really good way to put into words how it makes me feel, it was like this one in Amsterdam too, his voice just makes me melt, esp the notes at the begining. :swoon:

Oh, and of course this Lollipop version is simply unrivalled...*stuck* :lmfao:

(thanx Tiibet for capturing this great moment on film!)

and

Yes I LOOOVE that cute part in this, I LOOOOVE him (fangurly outburst sorry)

and this is one I choose too since I found his performance here sooo moving, he expressed through his performance the feelings and meanings I get from this song perfectly...love it.

I love the talking. Adore it. But I think I prefer La Solitude in Nice, if only because of the piano accordian accompaniment. But in Luxembourg he reads the words less obviously :roftl:

I came here to add those ones:

Comment te dire adieu

WHY: Another great cover, duet with Emile Simon

I've Got Life

WHY: He only covered it once, but it's brilliant.

Pick Up Off The Floor

WHY: Intimate performance, great band and backing vocals

Rain

WHY: Great TV performance

but found them already on the list :naughty: Totally agree :wub2:

And I'll add

Rain (Acoustic) at Lieve Paul - October 2009

Love his performance in this one with the piano, a real piano :wub2: and I donno.. I feel that he's totally into it and like he's in another world :wub2:

Also his voice is so clear and he hits the high notes very well.

Be back later with more :wink2:

Edit: I just wish he didn't put all that make up on :naughty:

Because I started this thread, I thought I'd trail through and collect all the links into the first post.

But I must have had a major senior moment because it's petty well up to date and even in alphabetical order! Gosh, I'm good :roftl:

:thumb_yello: I couldn't agree more about the 3 OSM performances - which I will keep in my head and heart forever!  And I'm truly thankful to have shared these 3 nights with you Kreacher, and all the other nice and lovely MFCers, whom I was lucky enough to  meet in Montreal  - it's all still like a dream to me...
