Actually she hates all sorts of animals from flies to rhynos... That's why now i get my revenge and have a zoo at home and i wasn't allowed to have a single bird at home when i was a child... People that grow up on farms are barely ever allergic. But if you grow up without pets and only come into contact with animals occasionally, your immune system can go crazy, and there's probably a genetic factor in that too. Of course, I'll be transmitting the problem if I ever have children, since there is no way I could have a pet in my house... Still, I also get allergic reactions to grass, citrus fruits, peaches, ... and some of those allergies only developed when I was a teenager.
