Dearest Mika,

I hope your tour is going well. On one hand, I truly wish you great success and selling out huge stadiums is absolutely amazing. Word of mouth is the best advertising. I would just wish that you would also offer smaller gigs, special ones that pass through the undercurrent of the <imagine a cloud, looking however you want here>. I have $5 (american dollars - worth **** really) that says you could never again be in a field somewhere with a piano and sing "I will Survive" without having people running from all over in minutes. You know what I'm getting at? Your popularity has and is continuing to grow, and grow, and grow. I bet your answer to "what is your target group?" would be to shrug your shoulders and say, anyone who appreciates pop music. I also bet you are being pushed or people are trying to push into a "category". Dance? Pop? top 40? teen? etc.. I admire you for sticking to your principles. Prince, who I know you like and I LOVE (I have awesome high quality Prince bootlegs from europe) is a stellar examble of doing what he wants with his career. Beck, also. Have you heard his remake of INXS's cd - with "I need you tonight" on it? On his website. Back to Prince. The Paisley studio in Minneapolis, where Prince is from and still lives sometimes (mostly I think he is in LA now - woah, flash of a song where you two collarborate..angels singing).. well Prince used to have these open house parties at it. Just send out a notice and people would come. You would never know if or when he would show up but most of the time he did. The man never sleeps. Prince is a genius. The idea about the "party at my crib" tonight is what I'm getting it.

I would also love it if you could do a pay per view or internet live cast of accoustic show. Everyone could just sign up, it would be neat. Kind of like your AOL chat (where we broke the servers). Come on, if President Obama can have live web press conferences and take emailed/chatted questions, I think you could too. :)

Anywho, have a fun tour. Find out the neatest places in the towns/cities you are going to and explore them. Look at art. Oh, and the next time you are in Vienna, you must go here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hundertwasserhaus

and if you are going near Shanghai the World's Fair has absolutely AMAZING architechture. Britian's is spectacular. http://en.expo2010.cn/c/en_gj_tpl_71.htm

That's about it. I need some new graphic novels.

Hi Mika, thanks for that great concert in Düsseldorf. Your'e a real artist and hope you'll find what you want. Don't care what people say. You have to do it your way. In one thing you can be sure: You're not the only one and you don't walk alone... have a good time and sucessfull tournee
