Tonight, we will know who the next president of the United States will be. It was suggested that I make a seperate thread for this monumental event, and I thought "Why not?!" I've realized over the past few months how much other countries care about what's going on here in the states. Somehow, what happens here effects what happens in their own nations. So I'm curious to get everyone's take on this election, from all over the world If you voted, and are comfortable with the idea: Tell us who you voted for! If you couldn't vote because of your age or maybe you're not a citizen: Who would you have voted for? ************************************************************************* UPDATE: I'LL RAISE MY VOICE HERE LOL...I'M IN TEARS, SCREAMING, HAPPY, EXCITED, CONTENT. I LOVE BARACK OBAMA, AND I'M SO HAPPY HE IS MY PRESIDENT!!!GOD BLESS HIM, AND GOD BLESS THIS COUNTRY! MCCAIN PUT UP A FIGHT, KUDOS TO HIM. =) So this is it... I voted for Barack Obama and you guys may know that I live just outside of Chicago. Downtown was crazy,insane today! The energy was the best I've ever felt it. Everyone seems to be pulling for Obama and we're all united tonight. If something goes wrong, I don't want to see how the city reacts. But I'm close enough to the action to feel excited still! This is even front page news here and it's not even directly to do with us. I've never been so nervous, hopeful and anxious about anything like this before. I would stay up till 3 am watching it live but I've to get up way too early tommorrow... my fingers are crossed for Obama... right, goodnight all, and good luck!!
