That's another thing people always ask...'does he text you?' 'have you been to his house for tea?'.....and they think I'm the weird one!!!!!:shocked:

what I find weird is that everyone I know presumes that he 'knows' me because of being in the Big Girl vid, etc as if he's not meeting 100s of people every day! When I try to explain that he may have some vague recollection of my face but nothing more, they find it hard to believe. He would need to be rainman-like to remember us all. Also, the more familiar you are with his world.....the more obvious it is that you're a crazy fan! You can't really win. The few times I've talked to him I've tried to make the conversation as 'normal' as possible, rather than the 'i think you're amazing!' type of thing. Hopefully, it helps!! The upshot is the more he 'knows' you, the more likely that you're in the crazy fan category in his mind!!!

Late to this thread but I've just become aware of the La-la-la's in the background and they sound really familiar. I was thinking that it maybe from the theme to Eurotrash or something like that. Maybe it's just part of making the song sound very european?

Yup, this is my fave on the main album. I was agitated by the fact that it wasn't all his own work at first but that feeling has been swallowed up by how fab the whole song is. I had forgotten his tweet about the popular corn but it was the first line that jumped out at me...so clever...so Mika!!

OK, a few weeks have passed, I now own and have digested the entire new album and I totally love the new Overrated! Completely different to what he did with I'm Falling. It is in my top 5 on the album (including bonus tracks). I would never have believed it but there you go!!

Here are my ratings on the original list. I'd missed this when it started so I'm interested to see that my faves are the general faves. I've been ranting at my boyfriend about Tah Dah being a bonus track - only appearing on the deluxe edition as I love it. In reverse, what possessed him/the record company to put 2 versions of Make me Happy on the main album???!?!!?

I've just booked Joeee and I into the Holiday Inn Express (Theatreland) for £49 for a twin room with hot buffet breakfast. It's just across the road from the Concert Hall off Renfrew Street. Just incase anyone's still looking.

Does anyone else think that the reason it feels so different is that it's not cloaked in metaphors or full of cagey replies. It's like he was asked questions and didn't need to to plan each response. Free indeed!
