I like this...you got lost in the Mika world!! I, too must admit that I lose my sense of self and surroundings just at the mention of Mika by name...Yesterday when Mika was doing the Radio 1 Takeover, I was shopping with my sister and her husband. We were in Asda and my sister took forever trying to work that damned digital photo print-it-yourself machine (Some things are better left to the professionals!!! No offense sis!!) and I suddenly realised that there was 15 minutes left until he was to come on....I panicked and wandered off in search of a radio that I could buy- I found it!!- a pocket one that I could also use my headphones on aswell....and then my sister lost me for an hour- every time she looked at me to say something she'd give up and roll her eyes and tried on several occasions to lose me as, apparently I was laughing and giggling at "nothing" in particular!! Despite my age, I end up squealing and running on the spot whenever I hear him on the radio...and I don't care!! For anyone who knows me this is out of character completely...

We're all different and allowed to have our own opinions- but it doesn't make them deaf, dumb, blind or even mute. If the world wasn't as diverse as this then it would be very boring indeed....

I don't know if there is a particular one that I don't like. I used to skip "Over My Shoulder" because it was so heart breakingly sad and I didn't want to be sad- but that can be seen as an acheivement because it is able to conjure up that feeling of immense sadness that I don't think anyone is excluded from- Mika is quoted to have said that he compares it to the feeling of an after party after everyone has left and you're on your own. I really can't say that I dislike any of them, I can easily say which one is my best....Love Today- it's a party song, but then My interpretation is such an elegant way of saying "I don't care", and then there's Happy Ending being a dignified way of saying "I'm broken"- ummm maybe I can't decide!!! Oh well....

I think they're referring to it being light hearted, not making sense, not obviously understandable- little do they know that that was Mika's intention, It's a message packaged in an Alice In Wonderland Way (his own ideas from various sources) The word dumb here is actually not used in the right context and I think its being used because the reviewer just doesn't understand it...
