  1. chachkis?!? I happen to like his Chachkis!! yeah it's unfortunate they don't know who he is, so to catgorize his fashion is above them. I happen to think he looks delicious..
  2. i swear he just stole that jacket from some drum major and didn't think anything else about it! LOL!
  3. Omigosh he looked totally delicious!!!! Simple in the black but very well put together!! very rockstar-ish!! i kinda wanted to take the scarf off of him, but it adds a subtle touch.
  4. I discovered her a while back and I think she's really great!!!!
  5. I saw that bronze jacket live when he opened RELAX in CHICAGO and I instantaniously fell madly in love with it!!!!! .... and him.... hahah!! I'll post my pics with the bronze jacket a little later...
  6. and you know what? it really takes a superb artist to pull a song like "Relax" off live..i believe that would be no easy task...that's just my thought..
  7. the first time I saw mika open with Relax it was undoubtedly NOT lip synched.. omg, you could hear it vibrating through the venue!
  8. GUYS! You know what I noticed the other night!? I feel so dumb because we could've done something special for MIKA in Chicago!!!! Feb 5th was the 1 year anniversary of Life In Cartoon Motion!!!!!!!
  9. a lil off topic.. but.. At the chicago show, he mentioned how he was told "Billy Brown" was too innapropriate for the US market and how he wasn't getting airplay in the states yet all the shows on the concert tour are sold out.. we were all like "BOO!!" and Mika was like "That's right BOO!"
  10. I was at that gig when he did that and it was soo funny!!
  11. Awww Why in the heck don't I have one of these yet? I think when I get my taxes back, I'll order asap!!! I wish I would've known so I could have compiled something to put in it! lol
  12. I saw that the other day! His reaction is so funny because he starts laughing just like the recording!!
  13. I couldn't get any of those because by that time, I had noticed that security had a flashlight and was pointing it in the direction of some people with cameras.. I was really scared they'd confiscate my mem stick if they saw it..
  14. Alright!!! I have PICCYS!!!! They're not great.. but they're good.. I'm quite partial to the ones with the umbrella. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=244&l=d59e1&id=1135170008
  15. I heard that too and started laughing!!! I was like, well he surely knows what song to use!
  16. no one wore it in Chicago.. He just sang the song...
  17. Awww Bonjour Mika you are wonderful!!! It was so nice to meet you as well!! I'll have to upload our photo soon!!
  18. Nope.. You were supposed to check them at the door... but I got mine in.. and I wasn't the only one b/c some other people had theirs too..
  19. Okay everyone here's my report!! I was waiting for this day forever! I swear I've been counting days since I secured tickets! Our main concern for the day was the weather, and we were wondering if Mika might cancel the gig. I was pretty certain he wasn't going to. The drive up was kinda tretcherous but we got there safe. I got to the venue about quarter to 5ish. It was kinda cold, but my sister graciously bought me some of those hand warmers. Good idea for concerts it was a bit chilly out!! While I was in the queue, I realized I was standing in front of Melanie (Bonjour Mika1990) So we talked for a bit and I gave her my extra flashing hearts. The security kept telling us that if we had cameras we would have to check them. Okay, to be honest, this was a joke.. They wanded you over with the metal detector, and felt up the bottom of our handbags. My camera was in a side pocket of my handbag, and got in undetected! I got into the venue and waited for a while. The opening act was a Toronto based band called Midway state. The lead singer had this crazy curly fro, and a whole bunch of people were like "MIKA!" like half the crowd was like "THAT's NOT MIKA!" they were pretty good!! Finally Mika came out after changing the set and all. Opened w/ "Relax" The entire show was amazing! I was waiting for him to do "How Much Do You Love Me." I could've melted into a pile of goo at that point. "Missionary Man", was awesome!!! It was really interesting how he commented that he's not that well precieved in the States, and yet the tour is sold out.. or that he was told that he can't sing "Billy Brown" in the States and such... and yet he's singing to a sold out crowd! it was really amazing. All the theatrics of the show were amazing! The blow-up baloons, the confetti, the streamers, the lights, It was all phemon! He def pulls out all the stops! The thing I noticed is that his accent live, sounds soo different.. maybe it was just me.. but that was my observation. Mika mentioned that the venue is "delicious" I was like, "and so are you!!!" I do have to say the venue itself for me was okay. The crowd was beyond pushy, and of course this really tall guy was like front and centre. when the crowd started jumping, I swear, the entire wood floor shook!! I didn't get to buy a t-shirt (devastated ) because I was pushed down the stairs at the end of the show, and once you're down, the security is really strict about not letting you back up.. We got home around 1 am. It was sooo worth it. Every minute. Mika is such a dynamic and versatile performer and I honestly can't wait until he comes back to the States for another tour (hopefully in better weather) !! Amanda I was so excited to see you on stage!! I wanted to meet you but there wasn't time.. I tried to get a photo, but by that time, I noticed that security was flashing a flashlight in the direction of certain people who had cameras... so I was really nervous that they'd take my mem stick and erase it... sad... alright lemme edit my photos up a bit and I'll post asap
  20. Hey guys have fun at the show tonight.. for anyone that's going, if they could pm me, I need a mika shirt. & poster.. I didn't get one at the Chicago show and if someone could pick me up one, I would gladly pay for it..
