it didn't sound in the interview like the interviewer had to push him towards saying this. i just looked again on the way home, and the question was simply "so who is it that stole your heart?". of course they can hide a lot in written interviews. but if mika doesn't want to talk about it, he says "it's none of your business". tbh, i'd be surprised if he wanted to hide his bf from the world (which also means fans and press) forever, and if he wants to reveal more in interviews, why do you think it's wrong? of course it would be wrong to discuss possible candidates on mfc unless mika reveals a name. but this is not much different from mika saying he has a pink door - that might make it easier for some to find out his address, but still it isn't an excuse for speculating about private details on mfc, so i wouldn't worry about that.

ok i just read the interview in du&ich magazine, but didn't buy the mag as it was 8€! it's a new interview, 1 1/2 pages, but apart from one question it's just the usual stuff. how and why he wrote his album, paloma's accident, why he came out now. but in one question they asked him about his boyfriend, don't remember the exact question but i think they were refering to mika being so happy now with his love and that the guy must be very special... anyway mika's answer was that his bf is also a creative, in arts and film, and that he's patient and tolerant, which is good as mika himself is quite impatient. hasibobberle wrote on twitter that she'll get the magazine, so i guess we can get a scan from her so you can get a full translation. if not i can get the epaper of the mag, that's only half the price.

thanks eriko and mari! it looks like the radio station deleted the video from their YT account. i've written them via e-mail and facebook, asking why they deleted it and whether they'd upload it again. let's see if i get an answer.

i think you sing the song for YT, not the backing vocals. but i'm also wondering things like, would it be ok to play the guitar to it or have the mika song playing in the background, do we have to sing in the same key as mika, what if we're not sure whether we'd fit better into alto or soprano... ? but maybe they'll add such details for the next round, i.e. the european gigs... it's only a first try now, and they'll learn from it, so in the end it might be different altogether for europe.

and those who can sing but don't have accounts on facebook and youtube... or don't have a camera... or can't go to any gigs... i think it's a great chance! guess i'll try for munich if they do it there, though i certainly am not the best singer in the world, but i'm able to hit the right notes and as it's a choir i hope that's enough. i think that's ok, you'll have to be able to SING in front of 1000 or more people live, not just walk around a bit, hidden behind a mask (anyway i *hope* the choir won't have to wear any weird masks! )... even if it's a choir, but a choir of 8 isn't that big either... so uploading a video of your singing on youtube should be the smaller problem! besides, you can always set it to half-private so only those who have the link will be able to watch it.

haha, yes, that was it! exactly, and don't forget, he's dangerous for us as well - all that adrenaline before and during the shows, lack of sleep, endless nerve-wrecking waiting for the new album, hours on the internet while we should do something else... dangerous mika!

not sure, but probably with that online list of songs & their songwriters... i keep forgetting the link but it's somewhere on mfc. that's also how mika's new songtitles get figured out before he releases them. i don't remember what exactly it was, but there was a guy who tweeted about something that shouldn't have been public (yet), might've been a videoshoot or something like that, i don't remember... and the guy set his twitter account to private shortly after, but it was too late, was already on mfc. or simply things like this london photographer tweeting about mika missing a photoshoot because he didn't feel well, and all the get well soon tweets from mfcers to mika that followed this. about fans being everywhere, i don't know... he might mean that as well, but luckily not in all countries fans stalk him to hotels, airports and trains. tho i must say he kinda provokes it a bit if he tweets about how lovely it was that those spanish fans waited at the hotel for him, for example...
