    i only know it because he once tweeted a note that his mum had written him. though i have no idea how to pronounce the name in greek, in germany it's only a girl's name. here's the link for the germans, as of course the youtube video is blocked in germany: i like how the video develops from running FROM something towards running TO something, and it also fits well to the lyrics and to the music. when i started watching it, i thought "wtf?!" - but i'm glad i watched the whole thing, i love how euphoric it becomes in the end. i agree with christine though that i probably wouldn't listen to the song without the video.

    yeah, those glasses are just the frame for the glowsticks - but you get the glowsticks in a 100-pack for 10 euro, so i guess that's not the problem. if anyone finds such glasses that glow by themselves, let us know. i think i'll order a few of them and try if it's possible to wear them in addition to normal glasses - but i guess so. i always do that with the 3d glasses i have at home, just putting them over my normal glasses. at the gigs i wear contact lenses, but generally i know the problem. lol @ the hat! apart from what tiibet said though, i wouldn't wear them at the lovebox festival, and especially not at the circus stage... it could be mistaken for something else.

    ah damn, missed this competition! curious as to who the winner is. i love those special mfc competitions, at least here we (usually) know the winners from chatting with them on mfc.

    of course! we also have it as a hashtag on twitter. #hibbeling well, hibbelig (without the "n") is the german word for the state you're in, the verb to it is hibbel... and we just turned it into an english word, which is "hibbeling" (with "n"). i think it was statueofliberty, hasibobberle, rose and nezza who came up with it last year... we even were wearing t-shirts with "hibbeling for mika" on them at the gigs in compiègne and liége and tried to explain to mika what it means.

    at least this way the pre-gig thread is alive. it's nice to see new posts in here... as long as not *all* of them consist of head-on-keyboard-banging. oh, and the reason why I am posting: statue finally received our tickets! btw, it's definitely just a rumour that you're less excited about a mika gig if you've already been to 50. especially seeing him again after such a long time, probably getting to hear some of the new songs... this definitely makes me ... the german word for this state is "hibbelig", that's why we're always "hibbeling" on twitter. (in case anyone has been wondering about this)

    absolutely agree! some parts of the demo remind me a bit of kick ass. pfft, they've ruined mika's beautiful song. but well... guess it's still an honour for him that one of his songs is on madonna's album. thanx for posting about the demo!

    usually it's just professional cameras with exchangeable lenses that are not allowed. (spiegelreflex in german )

    when have you emailed them? it takes a few days til they answer. i just hope you get a better answer to your question than i did when i asked them bout the vip tickets... they basically just wrote me what i can already find on their website.

    i think you can go where you want, once you're inside? as a vip you can enter the vip area, but it'd surprise me if you have to. after all it's not a concert, but a festival with different stages, and as far as i understood it, there's only one vip area.

    i wonder if there'll be a new band. i really hope so, but who knows,maybe mika's music is so electro now that he doesn't need a band anymore but oly a dj. #worstcase in any case, i'm not happy with cherisse leaving. and probably also martin & imma, when she talks about the 'band'.

    oh come on wonka, isn't it obvious? he was so scared by the number 9 that it would've been a bad omen talking about his new album in that show. that's kodes, i remember him from mfc, always seemed a nice guy to me... already been wondering why i haven't seen him on here for ages. anyone knows what happened?

    so i guess andy is talking about a videoclip for the first single. looking at his older tweets, and assuming those things were also for "project mika", here's what we have (i love speculating, until we get the real news! ): a scout's hut a 70's tv a glitter ball a religious painting a weird porcelaine doll some dust (spray) and a badger. i'm really curious about this video! it all kinda fits together though, an old '70s place. tribes edit... hm, i guess (hope!) it's not "underwater" then. i wouldn't be surprised if we got that song more or less from one day to the next... it has worked well with elle me dit, so he could try that again. :rolls_eyes:

    congrats! looking forward to see you there! do you already know who you're going with? if you wanna sell the 2nd ticket, maybe tina78 would be interested, she considers going and doesn't have a ticket yet.

    tiibet and me will be there... that depends... i often wish that i hadn't listened to my parents so much when i was a teenager, and had taken more risks! well, i guess whichever path you take, they all have advantages and disadvantages. :rolls_eyes:

    that way he's just encouraging fans to send him stuff to his home. oh well, the poor boy must suffer from presents deprivation, as he hasn't been touring for ages.

    now that would be a nice rainbow effect! maybe it'd work by spraying it together with coloured powder... i'm sure the security guys at the stage would be thrilled by that idea! edit: thinking more closely, spraying glitter hairspray in the air would indeed look great, with the small glitter particles falling down like sparkling raindrops. on the negative side, the smell of glitter hairspray isn't that great. we wouldn't want mika fleeing off stage to escape it!

    i have a feeling that the new theme might have something to do with tribal stuff, like african masks and/or native american feather stuff etc. :rolls_eyes: but you're right, so much has been done already, it wouldn't be special if we just repeated sth old or did something just for the sake of it if we don't have a fab idea. we could spray mosquito repellant in the air all at once.
