  1. i posted it in my report. i asked him about that thing in italy in october, where you can win a m+g with him, but he didn't know anything about it, so i guess the moment statue took that pic, he was trying to remember his schedule. or maybe it was when he talked about the gig in tunisia, no idea - anyway, it looks like he's trying to remember something.
  2. mika talking with me, lol! that was the one, right? when i asked him about italy? amazing pix, as always! t4p!
  3. good that we work so well together, and it's the only complete video i have of that show! thanx for the OMS part, loved his talk! oh, there's john in the background, cool! thanx for the pix!
  4. lol, only just saw this thread! so, since my name suggestion "georgia" has been suggested by someone else here already, i gotta come up with a new one, huh? so, how about one of those... aurora (beautiful name) saphira (same, but might remind too much of eragon ) melody (he's a sucker for it, remember? and well, i wouldn't mind if he named his dog after me... ) song (second best after melody *g*) mikita (mixture of mika's name and the elton john songtitle "nikita") samantha () lunch, or dinner (as opposed to jimmy's cat breakfast ) ok, i'm starting to get silly, better leave it at that for now.
  5. dunno if you can see it, when he came closer, i took the camera down, so i wouldn't hold it right in his face and therefor at some points i filmed the ceiling or only his shoulder... but for me not looking into the camera at all at that point, you can see his face amazingly often. anyway, here's the rest of my videos: some parts of love today (incl. shooting): last part of GK, with the funny glasses a part of sweet dreams, with some niiiiiccceeee dance moves several talking bits: aftershow m+g with mfcers:
  6. that's because they all were attacking ME! at least i got to kill 2 or 3 of them. well, one was killed by statue of liberty. on my bright coloured shorts, dunno if i'll ever manage to remove that stain!
  7. btw, i forgot to mention that we were eaten up by mosquitoes while waiting for mika after the show. i have at least 10 bites all over my legs, and they're killing me, itching like hell! :aah: great gig souvenir. the things i go through for mika!
  8. thanx for your videos! at least you recorded whole songs, not just bits+pieces like me. i just feel weird filming a whole song if he's so close. i should get over that! yeah, well, if i'm ever really really bored, i can start counting mika's body hairs! (though i bet dark angel already knows the answer... ) and i didn't even use a zoom for that pic! so happy that i decided to go to helsinki, it's one of my fave gigs now! and kinda glad that prague was cancelled, or otherwise i wouldn't have considered helsinki.
  9. is it just me or does martin look a bit like bruce willis in that pic? rest see my photobucket album (link in previous post) ;-)
  10. my pix: http://s778.photobucket.com/albums/yy68/mikafanclub_de/2010%2008%2002%20Riga/2010%2007%2030%20Helsinki/ (marianne, if you leave the watermark there, you can use them for your website if you want ;-))
  11. it was martin's setlist, guess it's some instruction for the guitar sound?
  12. ok, here's the first part of my videos, rest and pix will follow tomorrow, too tired now. sitm intro+trumpet solo: talk before billy brown (with martin playing the "top gun" theme ): biotg, some bits of the beginning, and everything from the 2nd verse on: a bit of kick ass: band introduction and first part of happy ending:
  13. yup, that's right... here's a pic of the setlist: he did dr john after sitm(?), and sweet dreams instead of toy boy, iirc. or was sd after gk? anyway, it was gk, sd and lollipop for the encore, in whatever order. and @mad hatter: sorry, but if those little girls want to be front row, they should start queuing at 6am, like we had to. you can't come at 5 pm, jump the queue like they did, and expect to be front row, if people have been queuing for the gig all day, and the front row is so small. it's always a problem you have at concerts, if someone taller than you is standing in front of you - but that doesn't give you the right to expect to be let in the front by everyone, if you're not queuing in time. if that attitude means that i'm a b*tch, then alright, i am. apart from that, see ingie's post. and well, in the end those 2 girls had a better view of the gig than they'd have had from front row, since they climbed on the speakers. uploading my pix+vids now... didn't record whole songs this time though, only bits+pieces, especially the talking bits. and i think most of what i filmed has been filmed+uploaded by tiibet already. anyway. uploading now.
  14. like i said, not much from me this time, and most pix blurry, but at least a few good pix+vids. sitm intro+trumpet solo: talk before billy brown: biotg (shirtless), with the funny singing competition: and my photos: http://s778.photobucket.com/albums/yy68/mikafanclub_de/2010%2008%2002%20Riga/ wonder if wonka has anything to say to this one?
  15. hi allegra, was wondering if you mind me uploading mika talking to you in helsinki on youtube? you're not visible in the video, just can hear your voice a little bit (lots of background noise though), but it's mainly mika talking. :wink2: was fab to see you again! :huglove:

  16. yup. that's melisanda, our new member from turkey (anthusa), yuls mc fuls, me, and statue of liberty. the one next to melisanda, i'm not sure. it was inevitable that with the millions of photographers that were there, some pix of us would turn up. never seen such a crowded press pit!
  17. back home. ;-) don't think i'll have to do a long report, since most has already been said. just some bits... - statue, the song where he forgot the lyrics was grace kelly. - and iirc, he sounded very sure about the tunisia gig, it didn't sound like a "maybe" to me. i asked him will he be on holiday in september, and when he said yes, i said sth like good, coz he has such a crazy schedule now, and he said there'll be one gig in tunisia. i then asked about that italian m+g in october that you can win on the official website, what that would be, but he didn't know anything about it, was quite confused. - the support act was definitely lots better than the one in helsinki! ;-p i kinda liked the huge hair of that one guy, thought it was funny... and well, you know my obsession with hair, lol! and one of their songs was really good imo. the rest was ok. - unfortunately i couldn't use my camera much, since i forgot to take extra batteries, and mine were empty halfway during the show. so i filmed only the trumpet solo and biotg (shirtless :-D), and took a few pix, but most didn't turn out well... i'm sure statue and tiibet will have enough material for you though. ;-) i'll start uploading tonight. ;-) - yul$, no wonder you're on cloud 9, how many times did he tell you that it was so nice to see you? i counted at least 2! - i finally got to see the stage layout with the trees on each side (and in the background a moon and skulls and flowers for the encore). - jimmy tried to reanimate the toyboy again , he came on stage in a doctor's gown, carrying a first aid kit. - when mika parted the crowd for the biotg singing competition (btw, why is it always NOT my side that is winning?! ), a blond guy came walking through the gap in the crowd like he was on a catwalk! and mika said sth like "here's a new star", and bowed to him like - his talk before oms was really cute, hope someone filmed it... he said that he was small until he was 15, and then he suddenly grew a LOT, and from then on he was afraid to go to concerts, because he'd stand out in the crowd with his size - and then he pointed at a guy in the middle of the crowd who was about 2m tall i guess, and said sth like it's true, you really can be seen very easily from the stage if you're that tall. i don't know if the guy even understood what mika said, he didn't really react, from what i could see. ok, i guess that's it for now, can't think of any other interesting things (though probably there are some which i just forgot ;-p)
  18. tina78 was a big girl... guess it was a good decision of her, because she was 2nd row, in between all the finnish teenagers, it probably would've gotten too hot and pushy there - but i'm sure she'll tell you in her report. there were some funny bits, like martin playing the top gun theme before billy brown, and mika playing the wrong piano keys because of that... well, and the crowd was really into it, such a great atmosphere! i really don't mind being pushed a bit, if it means such an atmosphere. i could do without the early morning queuing though. though in summer it's much better than in winter. and we had a lot of fun together in the queue. the only negative thing about the gig (ok, apart from the support act, who was just embarrassing... ) was that the sound was quite bad, because in the first 2-3 rows we were on the wrong side of the speakers, they were behind us. so unfortunately i didn't understand everything that mika said - but i filmed most of the talking, haven't watched my vids yet, but maybe i can figure it out from them. m+g was really nice too, a lot of people, but luckily the teenagers didn't start screaming and running towards him, like we feared before. mika went along the line, all mfcers were quite at the beginning of the line... i filmed most of the mika+mfcers talk, but gotta ask everyone first whether it's okk for them that i post it. ingie gave mika the birthday video, i'll let her tell you about it... and with me, mika talked about my selfmade bag (he said his merch people can learn something from that... ), and then i asked him whether he already knows a name for his dog, and he said it's really difficult for him, and he's flying home to pick her up on the 5th of august but doesn't even have a name yet, and doesn't want to give her some stupid name - along those lines, i don't remember his exact words, but got that on video too, i'll post that in any case. ok, gotta get to an end now... will post my pix+vids when i'm back home (from tuesday). had a fab day today with mfcers - nina, suzie, statue, ingie and bubbles - i could hang out with you guys every day, so much fun! one more sightseeing day in helsinki tomorrow, then off to riga on monday.
  19. a report from me too, as i finally have access to the internet. and a bit of time i think marianne and suzie have summed it up pretty well already... so, we decided to come early, since we knew that there were a bunch of girls queuing already since the afternoon before - and we feared that there would be many more teenagers coming very early too... which turned out to be true. list was closed at 12 with 50 people. but the weather was nice for queuing, sunny with some clouds. :-) some time around noon john came out, asked about the list, and told us that there would be no barriers between the crowd+stage. in the afternoon there was a bit of hassle because a woman was complaining about the queuing system (the usual stuff, some people just don't like our system, for whatever reason, i didn't really get what problem she had). anyway, it left us a bit worried that they'd try to jump the queue or would inside try to reserve the front row for their group. luckily all went well in the end. there was some sort of board attached to the stage, where i guess when the club is used as a club you'd put your drinks - and underneath, there was space, so when people pushed, we were pressed against this board, which was at about the height of my stomach. i feared it would get bad if people started pushing, but although this was probably the pushiest mika gig i've been to, it wasn't a problem (though i have a bruise there now, but it's not bad ) - probably because we could move our legs and weren't pushed against a solid barrier. we could put our bigger bags under the stage, and the small stuff on this board, that was really nice. though one time when mika was on our side, there was a sudden wave of pushing from behind, so i had to put my hands on the stage for support, and at the same moment mika decided to walk to the other side again and (slightly) stumbled over my hands. we both looked a bit shocked, but it was ok - luckily he didn't step on my hands, that wouldn't have been so good... i was really happy to see kick ass AND sweet dreams on the setlist... since he changed around the songs a bit (and did dr john, though it wasn't on the list iirc), i thought he wouldn't do sweet dreams, but he did for the encore. he laughed a bit when i was like WOOOOT!!! when the song started. like i already tweeted, it was very hot - the finnish sauna gig! we were all soaked - mika already after the 2nd song, his shirt was completely wet. he took it off for 2 or 3 songs, then put the striped shirt on for love today. there were some really funny bits, like jimmy with the toy boy... and we also liked that the toy boy was lying right in front of us, and mika sat on it... later mika threw the toy boy into the crowd, think i read that he has been doing that at other gigs before... but was fun to watch...
  20. even with some nice dance moves! you can feel the energy buzzing in this vid... amazing! aww, i can't wait for friday! t4p!
  21. joanna as the bride, and sweet dreams? sounds fab! though i must admit that i preferred the old sweet dreams dance moves to that robot dancing he did there. no kick ass though? i really hope he plays it at the other shows i'm going to - i like sweet dreams, but if i have to choose, i'd definitely prefer kick ass!
  22. i just noticed from the current pix that he's not wearing his striped shirt for the whole show anymore - good! apart from that, i try to avoid watching vids+pix from the shows, it just distracts me from my work. and makes me want to go to each and every mika gig. :aah:
  23. this: http://www.br-online.de/bayern3/fruehaufdreher/vhh-audio-creme-mit-schokolade-und-aldi-ID1277902279991.xml it's only funny for german-speaking people though i think... the story is, you can call here at a radio station if you hear weird things in a song, and often people hear german text in foreign lyrics, which can turn out quite funny. in this case it's the song "obsession" by aventura, and someone heard the german words "creme mit schokolade und aldi-limonade" - and in fact the pronouncation in this bit of the song really sounds like they're singing these german words! it's especially funny since those words in a way make sense, it means "cream with chocolate and aldi-lemonade" (aldi is a well-known german food discounter).
