  1. aww, how sweet! even if you never see him wearing it, i'm sure he meant it at that moment, look how happy he looks! and i really love the quote too... is there a video of it?
  2. thanx. and i didn't have the slightest idea back then what he referred to, he never "told" me anything like that... but if i read the autograph now, it totally makes sense, mika "told" me at the acoustic tour/when i got the autograph, that gray skelly would be back, which she was for this tour. lol, this is almost as confusing as all the back+forth in "back to the future II"! anyway, that's definitely the most special autograph i have and will ever get of him. also the "love as always"... it's so general! never been so happy about an autograph before. oh no, wait... when i was ca. 17 and finally got to meet joey of NKOTB after 3 years and got his autograph, i was that happy too, to have a "proof" for meeting him.
  3. do you know yet whether you'll come for sure? oh, and of course, if you need a place to sleep, let me know. it shouldn't surprise him, if his record company features him in a mika newsletter!
  4. funny look? lol, maybe he wondered whether you stole the curlz from his hair dresser! fab work that necklace!
  5. yeah, promo depends on both, promoter AND media. promotion in its real sense, as opposed to marketing, is something you don't spend money on. if you run an ad on tv/radio/newspaper, you pay for it, and the media has it in their program. but promotion means, the promoter sends out free info, press releases, cds, video material... and the media decides whether they want to use it. i hope for you that mika gets a lot of good press in finland when he's doing his concert there, so he'll become more popular there and come back to visit you soon.
  6. from what i know, it's usually the local record company that's responsible for the promotion in a certain country... they often work together with promotion agencies though, or freelance promoters.
  7. ok, so here's finally a collection of all my mika autographs... didn't keep them all though, gave some away in competitions/giveaways on DMFC. first one i ever got, florence 19.7.07 - he didn't even look whom he was signing it to. ;-p 2nd one, munich 2.11.07 - the only autograph where he got my name right! xD btw, this one and the other one from munich are hanging on my wall: signed DMFC badge, berlin 5.11.07 - didn't keep this one: my fave, berlin 1.6.09 (songs for sorrow EP), already posted it... he signed my bag in baden-baden, 2.11.09 asked him to sign this shirt especially for a DMFC giveaway, hanover 9.12.09 personalized exercise book, posted the front cover on the exercise book thread... but i also got a personal signature with my name on the back cover in wiesbaden, 21.3.10: that's the 2nd one on my wall (see above), munich 27.3.10: tourbook, paris 27.4.10 my tree necklace, amsterdam 7.5.10 - actually i held the back of the tree to sign for him (it's paper with golden colour), as i thought it wouldn't be possible to sign on the felt... but mika decided to sign the heart instead. <3 and of course i also had to get a signature on my mika drumstick in luxemburg 8.5.10, so i won't mix it up with the one i have from cherisse. ;-p actually i never planned to get that many autographs, always thought one or 2 are enough, or maybe one per year... but somehow it just happened. *g*
  8. yes, that... and then it depends on the country. in europe the tour is over now, but in japan and eastern europe it just starts. plus, it would be a good thing to get those on mfc who go to the european festivals and enjoy mika's performance there, so they can keep updated about whatever mika will be doing in the future. maybe he'll even release another single from tbwktm, who knows?
  9. that's basically what my signature looks like too. and i saw someone else had it too... damn, should've chosen the chair dancing pic instead, that's my fave, i just feared he'd draw over that pic, that's why i chose this one, as there's a lot more space to sign. was that in paris as well then? looks like he really was in a champagne mood, to kathrinE, thankE you, MMie? or Mkie? Mihon? bit of alcohol and the dyslexia is fully there. dunny xd funny but odd. seems like, that evening, we got only very standardized autographs, or very unique ones.
  10. well, that's where the problems start, otherwise i'd have been doing that long ago already! first, if you print mika's logo or face on a flyer, you need a permission from him/his team. second, if you wanna give out flyers, you need a permission from public authorities - it's like that in germany anyway - and i think you even have to pay a fee for that, as it means more work for the cleaning people, if people throw away the flyers (and there'll always be some who do). i'd happily take care of the public authorities thing though, and even pay the fee if it's not too much, if i had flyers that are officially approved by team mika. next question then is, would they approve of flyers that are printed out at home, or would that look too cheap... after all, we don't want mika to be seen as a cheap discount product...
  11. tina78 wants to come too, and mariposa might as well... it's gonna be an mfc invasion...
  12. like i already said on the other thread: me too. got several threads for it on the german forum already anyway, easy to build & coordinate the teams there - and of course include mfcers too who aren't on the german forum.
  13. yay i won!! hope i'll find someone to go with, i hate going to concerts on my own (if i don't know anyone there... at mika gigs i'm never alone of course, even if i go on my own... ). edit: that's the club where the gig takes place:
  14. i'm quite sure they have some left, dunno what it was like in portugal, but at the merch stand in luxemburg, there were several more boxes with tour books, although i was one of the last few to buy something there. and they'd be stupid if they didn't try to sell them somewhere, either at the gigs or online, or both.
  15. i read yesterday that an estimated 95% (!) of the music worldwide is illegally downloaded. i wouldn't have thought it was THAT much! now, that could be a reason why the song doesn't do too well although everyone likes it. and yes, the radio stations too, i really don't get why they don't play it.
  16. he had a professional camera in belfast as well. there he was sitting right in front of me - i almost leaned my hands with my camera on his head cause i didn't see him at first! and someone told me they saw that later the security guys sent him away when he kept taking pix from the media pit after the other photographers had left - seems like they didn't know who he was. thanx for the translation nanou!
  17. i have an idea who it might've been, there was this photographer in london who was in the backstage area as well, he definitely was more than a normal press photographer, as they only get to see the first few songs, and not run around freely in the backstage area & take pix there. no idea what's his name though, i could just look if i find him on some of my pix. or it was fortuné, i saw him taking pix in belfast, and some of the pix from the book are from belfast (can't see it on the stage ones, but the backstage pix with the BGs+LGs were taken there). mama p took pix in amsterdam+luxemburg as well, didn't see it earlier, but it could've been her too, who knows. or maybe all of them... i told mika in paris that i really love the tour program, and he said thanx, and something along the lines that they tried to make it look like a real book. don't really know what he meant by that, the format of this tour program is standard really, all the ones i have from take that are quite similar. anyway, i LOVE all the pictures and artwork - only thing that's missing IMO are some sort of "tour credits", names of the band & crew etc., like it's on the DVD. for me, this belongs into a tour program. but well, like i said, i really love it like it is, and i'm very happy that there finally IS a program of mika's tour, had been hoping for one for ages! btw, i still can't get over the fact that it's fortuné with that facepaint, he looks so much like mika, they could be twins!
  18. t4p. i love how happy & moved he looks at the end of lollipop before he leaves the stage. on statue's pic, it looks like he's about to cry.
  19. i know, that's why i never film it - at least in your vid it's possible to see mika, in mine it wouldn't be.
  20. thanx! arrgh, ok, it wasn't GK, it was LT - but seems like you were jumping at that point (it's when he starts with the dum-dadadeedadee)... anyway, good to know which song it was - and maybe better that i don't really get to see those hip moves again, they'd just kill me again! still was fab watching GK again. and your other vids... love that you caught the whole biotg intro, with the fans shouting AND the teddy bear - lol, that was so funny, love mika's laugh after he put the bear on cherisse's hair, so cute!
  21. do you have grace kelly on video? i think it was that where at the beginning he made those nice hip moves...
  22. it's a festival though... and i'm still trying to figure out how i can afford udine and maybe rome. well, if i win the lottery until werchter, i'll definitely be there.
  23. LOOOL!!! hadn't noticed that at the gig... he sings it differently at every gig, hurt or kill, no wonder he starts getting confused. hmm, wiesbaden was good, but not as good as lux imo. (although, the m+g... ) my fave of the german gigs was definitely stuttgart, since he was in such a silly mood there. if i just look at the show, i guess i'll have to say lux was my fave, at it was definitely my fave of the arena shows i've been to, and the show was just a lot bigger and better than the non-arena one. but, um, i don't know. i'll just say dublin, stuttgart and luxemburg were my faves of the tour, don't think i'd be able to bring them in order. but guess i'll put antwerp on my places-to-go-to on the next tour then.
