  1. it's a festival though... and i'm still trying to figure out how i can afford udine and maybe rome. well, if i win the lottery until werchter, i'll definitely be there.
  2. LOOOL!!! hadn't noticed that at the gig... he sings it differently at every gig, hurt or kill, no wonder he starts getting confused. hmm, wiesbaden was good, but not as good as lux imo. (although, the m+g... ) my fave of the german gigs was definitely stuttgart, since he was in such a silly mood there. if i just look at the show, i guess i'll have to say lux was my fave, at it was definitely my fave of the arena shows i've been to, and the show was just a lot bigger and better than the non-arena one. but, um, i don't know. i'll just say dublin, stuttgart and luxemburg were my faves of the tour, don't think i'd be able to bring them in order. but guess i'll put antwerp on my places-to-go-to on the next tour then.
  3. btw, i know that some people don't like comparing gigs (i do though... ), but could someone please tell me how this one was compared to antwerp? from what i've read about antwerp, it must've been one of the best gigs of the tour - did lux manage to come close to it, or not?
  4. they didn't publish the mailaddy though? i also first was a bit worried bout the pushing, though in front row i don't mind, as i can hold on to the barrier... but it was like, the first 5-10 rows were sitting down, and behind them there was a wall of people, looking as if they just waited for us to stand up so they could push forward! was a bit scary really... but we managed to time it well, standing up one by one so there wouldn't be a huge rush forward. and it really wasn't as bad as i thought, bit of pushing before the show, but during the show, those behind me kept their distance. probably that way they could see better. nice to hear from someone who was at both gigs, and makes me happy that you see it like this. from what i read i think the lisbon gig was very special too because of the golden hearts, but it's nice to know that there were two very special "last" gigs, not just the very last one... like mika already said in luxemburg, it kinda was the last one because it originally would've been... does that make sense? anyway, to repeat it again, i'm very happy with this being the last gig of the tour for me, and i'm sure most of those who were in lisbon think the same about the lisbon gig, so i don't think you offend anyone by stating your opinion about it.
  5. talking about which, here's the newsletter i got from universal germany today... ok, surprised that they're sending a mika newsletter at all, i get one only every few months... but turned out it's not really a mika newsletter but a wouter hamel newsletter! ok i don't mind if they promote him as well, he's good, but seriously, 4 links to him, and what link do we get for mika? we are golden "out now"! it's nice that they mention kick ass in the first paragraph, but why the f* didn't they manage to just put a download link to it in their mail, is that really asked too much?!
  6. since this, sadly, is the "normal" fan behaviour that most stars get, it just reminds me again how lucky we and mika are to have each other - he comes out to meet us after almost every show and does so many special things for us, and we treat him respectfully. there'll always be people like that though, but i love it that mika tells them that he doesn't have time (after they wouldn't understand that him ignoring them means exactly that ), instead of pretending to be all happy about them approaching him and let some bodyguards do the "dirty work" of keeping the fans away. and about the mum, maybe her daughters have been bothering her for weeks that they want mika's autograph, and she didn't want to have the complaints afterwards but hoped she'd get a peaceful time if finally they had their autographs.
  7. they published my 2nd comment at least. and sabine's, she said about the same like me in my first comment, just in a nicer way, hehe. and yours as well. tiibet, totally agree with you, that luxemburg was a fantastic ending for us for this tour.
  8. aaah, thanks so much for reminding me, of course i have them on my pc (just the berlin ones i don't have, but didn't miss anything from that gig yet ), stupid me was just looking on youtube! aww, it's during the 2nd pre-chorus, ok, he doesn't really motion it to the crowd, but he picks it up, gives me a huge smile, and keeps clapping for the rest of the pre-chorus, so sweet! i don't mind your singing in the video, would be cool to have the whole song on youtube for everyone who was there to memorize... so i wouldn't mind if you uploaded it, actually i was planning (once, when i have time... ) to make youtube playlists of all the (german) gigs, so everyone can re-watch the complete shows from beginning to end, if all the songs are on youtube... but if you don't have time to upload it, no problem, i can do it too whenever i'll decide to make those playlists. now that i remember that i actually have the video.
  9. just listened to the 30 minutes itunes conversation between mika and matthew vaughn, that's really sweet, was worth buying the soundtrack (a 2nd time ). has the content of it been mentioned on here yet? it was new to me that mika originally wanted to become a writer of film music at the age of ca. 14, but thought it wasn't possible because he couldn't read/write music. and they talk a bit bout american civil war music and agree that they both like it, and mika sings a bit of "yankee doodle" - to the melody of glory hallelujah though, LOL! i must admit it's easy to mix up all those civil war songs though. and mika tells the detailled story of how he got asked to write the song - was just a coincidence that he did it with redone, because at that time when they asked him, he had booked studio time together with redone, and so they decided to do this song together. wonder what song it would've become if it hadn't been the KA one... and he also said that he has turned down lots of offers already for writing music for movies, because he didn't like the story of the movie. and that in the KA movie he noticed that all the art was destroyed in the final fight scene. funny, i didn't even notice that there was any art there - or at least not that it was destroyed.
). http://www.mikafanclub.de/forum/index.php/topic,2599.0.html
  11. does anyone have more of GGG than just the end? don't remember whether it was during the 1st or 2nd verse, but when he sings GGG i always clap at certain times ("like a movie that is filled with lust"-clap, clap...), and in stuttgart he saw that and picked it up and motioned to the crowd to clap like that too. had hoped someone would've filmed it, so if anyone has (also bad quality is ok), please let me know. thanks.
  12. kick ass entered the german charts at no. 54. http://www.mtv.de/charts/germany that's 2 chart positions better than rain was here, and regarding the fact that it's no physical release and not in the slightest promoted by the german record company (apart from it being featured on the kick ass movie website), i think that's not too bad. hope it'll get higher in the charts in the next weeks, and not drop out after 3 weeks like rain did.
  13. bad cover version. i definitely prefer the original! though i guess it's a compliment if it gets covered...
  14. if you're 2m tall then he was looking at you. tbh, i have no idea what was going on behind me, or even besides me! dunno if this has been posted yet, small article in german about the show, with some pictures (also of the crowd, can see some mfcers there... ). http://www.tageblatt.lu/photos/40789.html the article is horrible, they don't really say anything but got all the facts wrong (did you know TBWKTM was out last spring already? ) and said mika disappointed his fans because he left without an encore! i wrote a comment on their site, but doubt they'll publish it.
  15. they do that quite often here... radio stations, like the one with mika last september, but the newcomer ones like this one are by amazon.de. they're giving away 100 tickets to them online, and have like 20 especially reserved for amazon employees. been to 2 or 3 of those gigs while i was working for amazon, really enjoyed them... fab bands, small venues.
  16. are you kidding?! you were the flamingo with the mask, right? i loved that costume, it looked fantastic!
  17. well you ARE on some of my pix... anyway, parts of your legs, your dress and your veil. with his right eye it looks more like he might be looking at me than with his left... aah, whatever, anyway he looks damn cute on that pic! *melts, then faints again*
  18. it's funny really, i don't find it that ugly anymore meanwhile. it's the same as with people somehow, you get used to their looks if you see them very often, or you suddenly find them beautiful if you get to know and like them. i like the puppet, since it's been part of the show so long. and well, mika seems to like it too, or he wouldn't have kept it in the show. didn't he even say at previous gigs to the puppet something like "you're ugly but i like you"? and then, of course it's a difference whether HE is saying this or someone else is.
  19. *faints* don't say that was while he was talking with me, or i'll die! though, that's not possible, i would've died right there and then. those eyes... :wub2:
  20. some random pix from the rockhal, and in the sub-album all the LG/BG pix from the show, uncut (but made smaller, so if you are on it and want a bigger version, let me know. ): http://s70.photobucket.com/albums/i91/mellody76/Mika%20Imaginarium%20Tour%202010%20-%20MFC%20and%20other%20pix/ queuing that industry thing which jimmy liked but i found it really ugly + somewhat scary... merch stand (love how they made an M out of the keychains!) car sculpture in the foyer of the rockhal - doesn't look as good on the pic as in reality, but it was quite impressive!
  21. laurel, thankyou for the report. i really admire you for being able to make it through that gig the way you did... you even were singing and clapping along at times, iirc, and your "breakdowns" were hardly noticeable to me, though of course i saw that the slow songs made you sad. i guess if i had been in your situation i'd have had a hysterical nervous breakdown, left the concert and then regretted it because then i'd have been on my own. i'm sorry that i couldn't/didn't help you more, i really had no idea what to do or say, or whether you wanted a hug or talk or be distracted or be left alone, i'm just rubbish at that. glad to hear that the girls on your other side could help you a bit. but... you still don't know what your mum died of?? i can very well imagine that this makes it even harder for you! i hope you'll soon know, so at least you'll be able to understand it on the rational side... maybe that helps at least a little bit.
  22. thankyou!! :flowers2: he thought we'd be mad?! c'mon mika! the funny thing is, before he says that, he's pointing somewhere in our direction - tiibet or me, or maybe just the videoscreen camera, can't make out on the videos where exactly he's looking. i guess tiibet, as she said she was happily jumping up+down when she noticed he'd sing la solitude. anyway, i thought i looked happy too, so why the f* does he say after looking/pointing at tiibet/or both of us, that he doesn't know whether we're mad or happy! i don't get him. again.
  23. LOOOL @ the dancing queen video! and i hadn't seen the kitchen one either - it's not in the DL link on the front page, is it? maybe someone could collect all the DL links in the first post? haha, i love how he's fluffing that lamp in the kitchen part! i have one of those lamps at home as well (it's obligatory for a fluff fan like me... ), and also love fluffing it when it's on, it just looks so pretty!
  24. thanx. yup, was a lot of fuzzy work with nail scissors, that felt didn't make it easy to me! but it was all worth it, mika liked it and signed the heart.
