  1. yeah, i'm in with 1 euro or so. and what's that book then? pfft, a chipcard for just a few stations by metro?! can you just buy them at normal ticket machines and pay cash there? don't wanna queue for ages at a counter to buy a stupid one-way-ticket!
  2. thanx for the translations - was much more fun watching this with a translation next to it! totally loved the songs, especially those versions of relax and love today and toy boy. and the singing/music in GK too, just would've preferred english (for the song and the interview parts )... but i won't complain, it was fab anyway!
  3. you need a chipcard? i just gotta get from the station to the venue, do i have to buy a chipcard for that, aren't there any single one-way tickets? seems like it. at least in paris.
  4. the tickets look cool, huh? much more interesting than the other ones i had for this tour, with that big MIKA on it! btw, any dresscode plans for luxembourg? is anyone planning to dress up? my thoughts were, either a superhero theme again, like in basel, or glow-in-the-dark / neon, because he has that fab uv light that also reaches the first rows for several songs, or the other idea i had, but that probably doesn't make sense anymore now, to stick or draw teardrops on our face - i thought because of his own rain/teardrops drawings and because it was the last gig of this tour, but it isn't anymore now, since lisbon has been rescheduled. anyway, i guess i'd prefer the glow-in-the-dark/neon theme. if you don't wanna do much, you could just wear something white, that'd glow too.
  5. red thing? um, his nipple? i might be blind, but i don't see anything unusual, that you might refer to.
  6. yeah, of course not if they have to adjust costumes... but the blue corsets ARE for small BGs, they wouldn't have to adjust them... still they didn't use them in paris.
  7. paris pix by me and graciosa of the 27th now online here: http://s778.photobucket.com/albums/yy68/mikafanclub_de/Paris%2027Apr2010/
  8. downloaded on amazon! it's only 1,49 euro for the whole single (3 songs)! and now i know why it says "explicit" on it... that live version of BIOTG, he plays the wrong key on the piano and shouts something that includes his fave f word... btw, don't think i've heard that live version before, does anyone know where it is from? it doesn't say on amazon.
  9. i mentioned it in one of my paris reports. they play music from bugsy malone (i think), with shooting sounds, and mika has a pistol with which he shoots himself, and out of that pistol comes a miniature "Billy!" flag. it's not really long, wonder why it's an extra point on the setlist... maybe because of the music.
  10. they are? well, if they're the first ones to arrive, then yes. but i hope they are, if they plan to be there at 9 already! i'd hate to see a queuing situation again like in paris, that was totally mad! you get a number on your hand, and your name with that number gets written on a list, and about an hour before the doors open (or earlier), the queue gets organized in the order of numbers. usually at an extra entrance, so the numbered people can enter before everyone else. how far the list goes is up to those who manage it... depending on the size of the venue and what time people arrive. at the german gigs it was mostly around number 50 and/or 4pm when we stopped, in paris it went til no. 150 - but stopped already before noon, because people arrived so damn early! on the 2nd paris date they only did it til no. 80, so guess it already stopped at 9am or so. during the day you can go have something to eat or whatever... but we ask people to not go away for longer than an hour maximum, otherwise it would be unfair, as without that regulation someone could just go sightseeing or sleep at their hotel or sit in a café/bar for hours. in basel we "deleted" some people from the list because of that (think dusseldorf as well? not sure...). when they finally come back and it's not too late, they can have a new number again. yeah, the bride should be tall, because the dress is very long. plus there are also people who carry some things (shrine, toyboy, signs), they're wearing mexican robes, that's also possible for tall people. think they prefer boys for that though, if they can get any male volunteers.
  11. fab to hear rose that you'll be able to make it! like i said though, don't count on getting chosen to be a bg again, they prefer people now who haven't done it yet. btw, also they didn't want any small big girls in paris. wonder what made them change their mind about it.
  12. i didn't see him on stage in munich during KA. gotta look at my video again, but i'd be surprised if he was! didn't patricia want to be a BG in amsterdam again? i thought she mentioned it in berlin... it seems though that mama p doesn't like it now if people do it who have already done it at other gigs, she was very strict about it in paris, wouldn't let axie do it again, and i also almost didn't get to do it, even though she had promised it the day before.
  13. btw, i asked anna in paris whether ida will be in amsterdam, and she said yes, she thinks so. unfortunately didn't get to ask ida herself (that would've been the original plan...), but if anna's right, we're gonna see ida & get her fab GGG opera intro in amsterdam too, love it!
  14. ah-ha, thanx. good, so if i'm ever bored and need a laugh (and am finished with wonka's thread ), i'm gonna come back here. until then: *slowly backs out of this thread as she fears the craziness in here might be contagious*
  15. ok i know this is mfc... but still, could someone please give me a short summary of what you guys talked about on the 55 pages of this thread? is it worth reading any of it? no idea what's so interesting bout a pic of mika and ida in paris...
  16. btw, did anyone get any french newspapers (or at least have a look at them) with concert reports? i almost missed my train on wednesday, so i was in a real hurry, but thought when running by, i saw a picture of the lollipop scene on the front page of one of the newspapers. does anyone know? i was wondering whether i was on that pic, if it was indeed lollipop, and from the 27th... tiibet filmed the lt intro and lollipop and iirc also kick ass.
  17. was thinking the same, it would be fab if the LGs and BGs knew the choreography too and did it on stage. so any MFCers who are planning to be LGs/BGs in dammy, please learn the choreography and make sure to teach it to all the non-mfcers backstage. mika didn't play KA live in paris, but the band and LGs/BGs stayed on stage for the whole song. no idea where mika was, didn't see him. at several gigs he was lurking though, i've personally seen it in stuttgart, there were windows up in the backstage area, and mika was watching the crowd reactions to KA from those windows. i think it's a good idea to tell john to make sure mika sees it.
  18. i caught your dance with mika on a pic, it's not the best photo ever, but thought you might still like it. will upload my other pix tomorrow, too tired now.
  19. and btw, as someone mentioned those glowsticks - that was really fantastic, they had thousands of them and gave them out to the whole crowd! well, almost the whole crowd... the seated places at the top part of the venue didn't get any. i had already suspected that it wasn't organized by the venue but by mika & co... maybe mika wanted to see better how many people it was, because when it was dark of course you couldn't see it. anyway, it looked cool, everyone with their glowsticks! but if they had wanted every single person to have one (instead of some ppl having 5), they would've had to give them out at the entrance i think. oh, and they gave away lots of free happiness bottles after the gigs, in front of the venue! so has no one posted pix of the tour program yet? it's absolutely fantastic! if none has been posted yet, i can take pix of it tomorrow and post them. edit: just saw marly was faster. btw, i have 2 spares of the tour program, if anyone's interested, pm me.
  20. arrgh, stupid photos won't upload in bulk , will stop trying now and get some sleep... uploaded a few single ones though (here: http://s778.photobucket.com/albums/yy68/mikafanclub_de/Paris%2027Apr2010/), rest will follow tomorrow... don't have many gig pix of yesterday, but several from the m+g.
  21. ok, this is part 3 of my report, didn't have time yesterday, but wanted to write a bit more about the gig itself, so many little bits+pieces that only became clear to me after seeing the show live, as they weren't posted or didn't come across that well on youtube. ;-) first of all, generally this gig wasn't one of my faves altogether... yes, mika was happy about the crowd reactions and all, but i had the feeling he wasn't 100% there with his mind+soul, hard to describe... talked about it with nightbird yesterday and she agrees with me - i'm sure though that for anyone who isn't a regular gig goer it was a 100% fantastic experience and they didn't notice. ;-p the 2nd paris gig was better i think, though it's hard to tell/compare without my usual front spot. what i found interesting was that the crowd was going mad before the gig started, especially the people around where i was standing, they shouted mika, mika, and started mexican waves, cheered at every occasion, etc. i already thought, wow, they're gonna go crazy when mika comes on, but in fact they were relatively quiet for the whole first part of the gig! well, maybe mika just stunned them. only from "rain" on, the crowd started going really mad. i especially noticed during biotg, that was definitely the best crowd reaction to that song of any of the gigs i've been to. well, don't know about yesterday, as i was backstage during biotg - anyway, i would've expected more from the crowd for the first part of the show, but for the 2nd part it was fab. ;-) then all those new little bits+pieces he has added... i think you know about the dragon, the tree, the rocket, and the opera intro for ggg - btw, he does the ggg dance with ida now, on a video i had seen (milan?) he had still done it with imma. then this bugsy malone thing we had been wonderng about, they play a bit of the music from bugsy malone (i think), and mika has a pistol with which he shoots himself and out of the pistol comes a miniature version of the huge billy brown flag. hadn't been able to recognize that in the videos before. ;-) well, and that mary poppins suitcase is really funny, it starts with the BG intro which you might've seen in a video, a knocking sound and the BG shouting out of the suitcase "hey there skinny boy! can i have a diet coke and a pizza please? i'm starving!" and then pizza boxes and empty coke bottles fly out of the suitcase, and BG lets out a huge burp. then before dr john mika first pulls out a flower vase (i think... couldn't see it properly...) and looks a bit bewildered , then the i see you umbrella (for later), and then the dr john coat, which is a lot longer now. before any other world, there is a sound like a thunderstorm and white paper comes flying out of the suitcase... not sure what that's supposed to be... snow? hail? leaves? but looks cool anyway. ;-p and during the song there are moving light points on the platform that look like those paper bits, so it looks like the paper bits are moving. i love all those little details! then, about this shooting bit during love today (where mika shoots all his band, the crowd and himself)... i still can't really understand how someone can have so much fun doing this, but you can see that it definitely is fun for mika. anyway, it's not as bad as i thought, as mika does it in a somewhat childlike way, so he can get away with it. it really feels like he is a little boy who is playing cowboy with his friends - i'll never be able to understand what fascination boys have with weapons, but graciosa (who has a son) told me that this is just what boys do (at a certain age), turn everything into a weapon. oh well, our big child there on stage, lol! from the videos i thought i wouldn't like the choreographed bits of the show, but when seeing it live, i quite like it - it's not too much, so it's ok. anyway, i had a fab time, and can't wait for amsterdam! btw, i asked anna yesterday, and she said ida will be in amsterdam too. ;-) so i guess she'll be there at least til the end of the arena tour... and then in amsterdam or luxemburg we can ask again, about prague etc. ;-p
  22. part 2 so, after the show (kick ass was played, band made lots of fun, we stayed on stage til the end of the song) we got to our dressing room and then in groups of 6 got quick photos with mika (1 per group). i told him thanx for the fab bday present, being able to dance on stage in front of so many ppl - and he said sth like oh it's your bday - happy bday! and pulled me towards him, so i was standing next to him on the pic. bianka has it on her camera, will look in a moment whether she's sent it already... well, and when we left, he wished me a happy bday again. with that smile that makes you melt. he's just too sweet! wanted to wait for him to come out afterwards, as graciosa and me wanted our tourbooks signed... anna told us which door we'd have to wait at, and there we formed a nice line (later they put up barriers as well, which was good, so everyone stayed in line) and waited patiently until mika finally came out shortly after 2am. from what i've seen on the schedule, they're driving to nantes during the night already. he took his time to sign for each of the ca. 50 ppl who were waiting (not much for paris!). i asked him whether he wasn't cold, he was just wearig a short sleeved shirt! and he said no, he's had a couple of glasses of champagne. cute. but still: - wouldn't be surprised if he caught a cold again, running around like that for 10 minutes while signing, and then driving away in an open convertible! oh, and before he came out, i got cherisse's autograph, and she said sth like i see you very often recently, and then added that she liked it and that it was like a little community, with all those people who are at so many gigs. so, and here's our pic, with bianka and me next to m. lol, just saw that the little boy with the striped shirt is on the pic as well! dunno who he is, but mika was holding him on his arm when we arrived, playing "shooting" with him - like he does on stage, with his fingers as a pistol, shooting himself and the boy. i don't really like this killing thing he has recently, but still it was so cute to see him playing with that little boy! goodnight then, really tired meanwhile!
