I bought this CD about 6 years ago while I was in France on a school trip, and I've played it almost every night since then! It's so soothing and peaceful, and it just kinda lulls you to sleep. Very nice. Brian Eno's 'Music for Airports' also seems to have a similar effect.

I must admit, I don't like Dragonball Z any more (I used to)... perhaps it was the atrocious dubbing and Funimation-ification that killed it for me >_O I ought to see the original Japanese version, I guess... I got fed up with the loooonnnng, drawn out battles, though. However, the original Japanese version did have some good music. ("CHA-LA!! HEAD CHA-LA!!" XDD ) I wonder if he's seen Excel Saga...? That show is INSANE. *sings* Sore wa ai ja naaaaaiiiii...

I had another Mika-related dream last night! I was on the MFC Forums and I think we were discussing what music we would play if we met certain people or fell in love or something o.O I dunno. I remember choosing 'Kiss' by Prince XD; and then we were wondering what Mika would choose, and then there was loads of speculation going on as to whether he had a girlfriend or not *LOL* and that was the end!

'I'm Falling' is my favourite. It's so beautiful and sad, and the way Mika sings it is just... ahhhh... It must be because of some sort of psychological masochism that I love this song so much, 'cause it's one of few sad songs that, if I listen to it properly, actually makes me sad rather than cheering me up like most sad songs tend to do. Also, it reminds me of one of my characters, Grigoriy, who is horribly unlucky in love and terribly lonely and miserable because of it... (ahaha, I'm so cruel to my characters! Poor dears...)

Wow, I didn't know that... =S The first line always made me automatically think of the tube, but I had no idea it was inspired by July the 7th. Aiyaa, how scary...

I haven't actually been there yet, but will get to go there for a year as part of my course! YIPPEE!! I'll probably come back morbidly obese from eating too much Pocky and Shige Kicks and mochi and stuff, haha XD That's cool that your sister's learning Japanese too! I couldn't take it at school, unfortunately, because my school didn't offer it, but now I'm studying it at SOAS, and while we have to learn twice as much stuff in one year as people at some other unis do, causing the course to move insanely fast, it's so much fun!

I've actually found that what I think of someone's personality alters what I think of their looks. For example, I might not particularly care for someone's looks initially, but if I grow to like them and respect them enough, I'll think they're good-looking. If, on the other hand, I dislike their personality enough, I'll think of them as ugly! Also, I've found that my biggest and longest-lasting crushes and obsessions have been based on personality... those can last for years, while the ones based on looks can end within a day! So yeah. Personality is most important for me. This doesn't mean that certain other things aren't also important, though... like the person has to wash regularly and stuff! (obviously *LOL* ) XD Scruffy can be cool, but stinky never is.

Ah, loneliness, 'taint fun... >.< it's the reason why I'm a miserable, pessimistic, bitter old granny, and I'm only nineteen XD; So I can't help but feel really sorry for people when I discover they're lonely themselves... like when I watched 'The Nomi Song' (a documentary film about Klaus Nomi), there was a part where someone said that Klaus Nomi was actually really lonely and longed to have a boyfriend and stuff, and it made me so sad... (Baaahhh, I'm such a hypocrite, I hate it when people feel sorry for me, but I feel sorry for practically everyone else XD; anyway...) I hope, though, that Mika finds some nice person sometime soon who'll make him happy...

SHOOT THEMMMMMM >xO LOL, no, not really, but when someone goes on and on about how they dislike something you really like, it's very, very annoying. It's fine to have an opinion and everything, but gaaaaahhhhh... The people on the Patrick Wolf forum seem to hate Mika too... D= and on the Last.fm page for the Mika concert at Somerset House, someone was all like, "WTF is Patrick Wolf doing supporting Mika?? Patrick Wolf actually has talent!" Baaaaahhhhhh...

Wahahaha, I was so tempted to go for the last option XD Luckily for Mika, though, I would make a rubbish stalker, I'm sure... Seriously, though, like many others on this forum, I think the amount of stuff that we know about him should be his choice. I would like to know more about him, because I think he's rather spiffy (LOL), but if he wants to keep quiet about certain things, then I'll respect that decision.
