  1. First of all, it was my first Mika gig, I was waiting for this till the summer of 2007, when he cancelled his performance at the same festival (Sziget). I sooo LOVED it! Mika, if you read this, THANK YOU FOR COMING TO HUNGARY!!! (Ok, he obviously doesn't read this, and sorry for shouting, but I enjoyed it so much!) But just a short reply to the stuff about people "standing like statues" and "not really know how to enjoy themselves". Well, I was somewhere about the 10th row, so I guess you weren't talk about me, yet I feel I have to say a few words about the other side. At the concert I had a quite good place, where I could hear and see everything pretty well, but I met some really annoying and agressive girls (sorry, maybe it's not the best expression, but I try to explain how it felt). One of them - a complete stranger - just held my shoulder, and literally pushed me away from my spot whitout saying a word. I think it was very rough, no Mika fans should behave like this. I am a huge Mika fan as well, maybe one of his biggest Hungarian fans, I'm just introvert a bit, and I was enjoying myself smiling and applauding at the 10th row, and not screaming and jumping in the first one, but it doesn't mean that I don't know how to enjoy myself. Don't misunderstand me please, no offense here, I just wanted to show this perspective too.
  2. Húhh... Köszi a gyors választ! Hát igen, ez elég hiteles infónak tűnik. Azért én még várok picit a napijegy megvásárlásával, elvégre akár a helyszínen is megvehetem majd.
  3. Vááá, most már én is annyira nagyon szeretném, ha tényleg eljönne!!! De figyu, ez a "as far as Mika's official tour program is concerned" most hogy jött Neked? Találtál vmit a mikasounds.com-on, amit én nem?
Aham.
  5. WOW! Hmmm... I've just finished watching this video. I LOVED it, thank you very much! Last night I tried to download it two times, and it always downloaded 99 %, then my computer gave it up . I was very-very upset, but this morning my boyfriend managed to download it for me. Now I love the power of the internet! I mean I couldn't be there, and unfortunately it's not too likely that I will have the opportunity to go to one of his concerts in the near future, but I can read your reports and stories from my room, watch the photos and videos... of course it's not the same, but thank you so much!
  6. I agree. And I agree with Shine, they look embarrassed and disturbed because of the paparazzi. (Which is quite understandable no matter if they're a couple or not, or whoever this lady is.)
  7. I think it shouldn't bother you. If you feel like posting, do so, and don't worry about not knowing anyone. Time and your posts will solve this problem. I am in a very similar situation, because I don't know anyone from this forum personally, and I'm not such a big poster, but when I feel like sharing my opinions, it really doesn't stop me. And it's easy to get involved in conversations, because people are very friendly and open-minded here.
  8. LOL! Your brother is so funny! Anyway, I think it sounds like someone drinking loudly with a straw.
  9. OH MY GOD! I just can't get those narrow-minded people! They are disgusting, and they will never understand what they miss willingly through all their lives! There's a very intelligent and talented Hungarian musician called Xaver Varnus, he plays the organ. I would like to share a quote of him: "I don't like gays. I don't like jew people. Just like I don't like gypsies, muslims, christians and atheists. That's because I love real people, real personalities, regardless of their sexual orientation, religion, or ethnics." I can absolutely identify with this opinion!
  10. Wow-wow-woww!!! Thank you so much for sharing this video! I haven't seen it before. Gosh! I really needed some new stuff about Mika! Love the interview! He is looking good , and talking bright again!

    his FEET!?!?

LOL! My mother can do the same thing, and I can do something similar to it as well, but my one isn't so spectacular. My father always says that it's not normal, and we are scary. But I think it's only funny.

    his FEET!?!?

Wowww! This thread is extremely random! ...but why not? I also noticed it before, and I find it quite strange. But I don't agree at all with some people saying it's disgusting, or stuff like that. I also don't think that it's necessary to say that it doesn't bother me. I'm not a fan of feet, just like I'm not a fan of chesthair, nose, hips, etc. I'm a fan of Mika Anyway, what if the photo looks like this willingly? I mean Mika admittedly enjoys confusing-shocking-provoking people, and this photo can be considered funny and extravagant as well.
  13. My result is: 80 % Billy Brown!!! When I looked at my result first I was like: What the f***??? But then I read it through: "Your life is unpredictable, and so are you. You can be strong enough to change your life in a second, and like to make decisions quickly. You are never afraid to leave your routine comfort and head into something new and unexperienced. But sometimes you get afraid and don't feel strong enough, and you get not sure about your actions, so you love your friends for helping you to make right decisions." ...Surprisingly (and maybe unfortunately) it's pretty true. I'm quite unpredictable, or at least my feelings and opinions and thoughts are unpredictable sometimes (or often). I mean even for myself, and I don't mean it exactly in the good way. Sometimes I really manage to confuse myself. ...hmmm... not that I have too much interest or knowledge about horoscope kind of things, but I am a Libra, so I would supposed to be calm, relaxed, well-balanced, confident, stuff like that... and I'm not at all. But the result of this short quiz was really surprisingly tue.
  14. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKA!!! Sorry for saying it in advance and not on your big day, but I will have a little holiday at the weekend, and will be away from my computer for a few days. But anyway, I really hope you will read it. I mean if I were in your shoes, randomly checking the forum, this one would be one of the threads I would definitely visit. Anyway: Happy birthday to you again! Have a great time and lots of fun on your big day! I wish you all the best in your work, huge successes, good health, love, happiness for your 24th! And thank you for everything you are giving me and to all your fans! P.S.: and try not to forget about the chair and the aspirin before your birthday party!
  15. No, you are not stupid at all! I think we all understand you, and know how you feel! And I can even understand that you would like to chat with someone about Mika live, because I know that internet isn't the same! (I write it besides the fact that I love this forum, spend loads of time here, and I think there are a lot of bright and funny and very friendly people I enjoy to communicate with.) I don't have a lot people who are Mika-fans around me either, unfortunately . But I think I have to respect their tastes too. I don't have to agree, but I have to show respect... of course only if they show respect towards my obsession, too. And one more thing: just think of that you are only missing a live chat-partner, but all those people are missing every beautiful, touching, thought-provoking, and funny moment that Mika gives us, and would give them too, but they just refuse it.
  16. Well, I don't know much about the American people's taste of contemporary pop/rock music, but I think I heard it a few times that sometimes the American breakthrough comes very hard to foreign singers. Maybe it's because of the counrty's attitude, I mean mostly they are interested in their own stuff, for example they say that Americans are not too interested in foreign policy, they only care about local events, etc. (But I really don't want to hurt anyone with this generalisation!) For example if I'm right Robbie Williams often said in his interviews that he was so very famous and popular in Europe, but in America noone would recognise him on the street. (I don't compare Mika to Robbie Williams, it was just an example.) But I share your sad situation: I live in Hungary, and Mika isn't too famous here, either. Unfortunately . Some radio channels plays Love Today and Grace Kelly, but that's all, most people has never heard about him. ...Though I'm working on it among my friends and family and people I know
  17. Thank you very much for sharing these pictures! I agree with all of you about not liking the photoshopping that was done to these pics, somehow it makes them less natural, less honest. But it's only the photoshopping that I don't fancy, and not Mika, of course! And I would like to say thank you especially for the first picture. I've already seen it, but it was a very small, poor quality version of the pic, so thanks again!
  18. CazGirl: "LOMS hasn't posted for months. He was posting when I arrived here which was around february time. People started to get suspicious and started to question. As soon as that happened LOMS stopped posting, but is still a regular member as they keep logging in from time to time. You gotta admit, it's suspicious." sariflor: "All that this could bring I believe, is for him to decide to stop posting, which would be a shame, really." Yes, I agree with both of you. I have to admit that I didn't know this theory till today, but anyway I think that if I were Mika trying to post and chat with my fans out of curiosity and for fun, I would feel very embarrassed and uncomfortable about threads like this one. (Please don't get me wrong, there's no offense here!) And it is really a shame if the theory is right, and we managed to frighten away Mika himself from posting. (Though I don't really believe in the theory.) On the other hand, if he's not Mika, then a poor boy somewhere was like: "Gosh! What the hell do they want from me? This place is totally obsessed, I'd better leave!"
  19. Woww! This thread is so alive today! I love it! But now, really seriously: I really find it a huge idea! I mean going to one of his concerts, and suddenly shouting out loud "I love your lyrics" or "I respect you" or "You are bright". That would be amazing. I'm sure he would appreciate it so much. Too bad I don't have any opportunity in the near future to attend any of his gigs . Normally I'm pretty shy, but it would worth it to do so. Anyway, I know that some of the fellow MFCers are arranging meetings before gigs, they go there together, and stuff like that. How sweet would it be some girls shouting at one of the gigs: "MFC respects you"!
  20. Hahaha, I can really picture the sight of his shocked face ...hmmm... I'm just wondering that is it funny or is it sad that he would probably find a compliment like that rather surprising, while getting familiar with the "get naked" screams... Ok, I know the situation isn't that dramatic, it was just a random thought.
  21. I just totally agree! Apart from the very sad and disappointing fact that I have never been to any of his gigs, I really think that "getting naked", "taking his clothes off" and stuff like that wouldn't be on my list of the most wanted and expected things. I'm not innocent or hypocrite enough to say I'm not interested in his shirtless photos. I mean if he does so, if he gets half-naked, it's ok, it's cool, it's way tooo hot, but it's not the most important thing. I respect him very much too. I respect his talent, his style, his unique and individual personality, his intelligence , his incredible voice, his euphoric music, his entertaining performances, his thought-provoking lyrics... and yes, I fancy his hot looks, but I just take it as a kind of bonus eye-candy, and not the main point. He is such a gifted, beautiful, complex soul; he's way too much to be reduced to his body. I don't say that his performances and gestures are totally asexual, or lack hotness... but listening to his interviews I believe that he doesn't want to be remembered in the future for his chesthair instead of Any Other World or Over my Shoulder
  22. Gosh! LOL! When I first saw these pics, I thought exactly the same, but I was way too shy to mention my naughty observation! I find it HOT !!! ... Am I pervy?
  23. Answer to the first part of your question: ...no idea. Answer to the second part: SURE!!! (even the blind can see how hot he is!!!)
