ahh we must be long lost sisters!! and i totally get where you are coming from about state solo and ensemble - TOTALLY nerve racking. Every year when it gets to that time i'm like "GOD I HATE BAND!" and what's worse is that since i'm in the top band we are pretty much expected to enter solos in group one or we are like "banished" or something. ugggghh. who invented solo and ensemble anyway?!?!?

well i have played piano for about 8 years now. i have played flute and piccolo for about 6 years and now i am teaching myself guitar. i am probably the best at flute. my third year playing and every year since then i have gone to state solo and ensemble competitions and recieved firsts every year. i was almost going to quit high school band for next year (my senior year) but my director offered me scholarship money to stay in it so i did. so yeah i really enjoy playing music.

OH MY GOD THOSE PICTURES ARE SO FUNNY! LMAO!!!! i cant even imagine mika dressing like that for real.... hahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaa

i'm soooooooooo glad that the site is up and running again!! when i tried to get on earlier and i saw the "MFC is broke" message i was like, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" but then i saw the message from mika and i was immediately cheered up again! lol. thanks to everyone who helped fix it and especially to mika for staying in touch with us during those stressful and scary 36 hours that we seemed to survive!!

i would very much like to know what pics everyone is talking about!

well first on my list is to actually go to a mika gig and meet him there. backstage passes would be nice. Then I would like to get in to art school (Chicago art institute preferrably) with scholarships. I would also love to cheer in college. I want to meet the man of my dreams and marry him (mika hopefully! lol in my dreams) and someday go to Greece, Rome, Egypt, and other exotic/ ancient countries. I want to have a career where i get to create and use my artistic abilities everyday. I want to take a road trip with my friends before high school is over.

um he is secretly getting married to me. but i honestly doubt he is getting married for sure. haha whoever said he was dating Paris Hilton - GOOD ONE!

well this is quite pathetic but i have not had my first kiss yet. and i am 17 years old. and quite frankly i am not ugly (i dont think so anyway). maybe its just because i have very picky taste in boys and i never really give anyone a chance. or maybe they are scared of me. ha oh well whatever...now my MFC family knows my deepest darkest secret!

oh and p.s. mika, the next time you come to chicago or anywhere near west lafayette, IN, PLEASE schedule a concert for the weekend!! I couldn't come to the last one because it was on a Tuesday night (a school night ) and I was devastated!!!

omg. this seriously just made my day. MIKA YOU ARE MY IDOL! WE LOVE YOU IN THE UNITED STATES EVEN IF THE RADIO STATIONS WON'T PLAY YOUR MUSIC! and also, mika, your music has been a HUGE motivator and influence in my latest art endeavor. I will have to post some pictures once it's finished! ahhhhhh i love reading what mika's plans are!! i feel so in the loop now. haha. Man, what would I do without the MFC?

you know you're a mika fan when: -you purposely let your cell phone ring on and on because the ringtone is "love today" and are not ashamed to be dancing to it in the middle of the mall. -you have a "mika wall" in your room -you started a youtube account just so you can keep track of all your favorite mika videos -you are sitting in the middle of church thinking to yourself, "these hymns would sound much better if Mika were singing them." -there is not a youtube video of Mika you haven't seen.

I was surfing youtube the other day and I came across this NEW SONG by Mika! I guess it is going to be his next single. If you read the video decription, it says he just finished recording it. haha i think that is really funny. mika is still a great guy, though. If you watch the interviews on youtube of him after the capital awards (i think that was the one), he looks really tired, so maybe that's why he didn't stay much longer. poor mika!

i would definetely be willing to wait for 8 hours to get a front row seat if that is what is takes. thanks for the contributions. hopefully whenever i get to go to a concert i can make the best of it
