  1. Nothing better than watching dogs playing Looks his vacation is going well!
  2. I hope someone will translate this. He can be so sweet... How could someone not love him? I wonder what makes him feel strongly about Britney Spear's perfume There are many cheap perfumes.
  3. I'm still touched that he spoke in English so we all could understand It was a nice gesture. Lovely and long speech, very sweet of him! This was a great show but the whole tour has been, he is in top form now. The best tour I've seen if talking about this type of summer tours. Very colorful and was great to see the band being so playful!
  4. I was in Milan and bought a Mumu for my son's birthday next week (already had one for myself) and had it signed. A very pleasant and nicely organised event. Everyone could get their box signed and give their gifts. No long chats of course but still a few words and he was very sweet and patient with everyone. We had a short funny conversation between two extremely over tired persons, lol. I looked so bad that I decided not ask a pic but it was a nice moment and everything was well done and organised.
  5. Incredible show. One of the best shows this year... I can't understand how he does that, really. Everything was so right. Wonderful setlist, voice, energy, sound, lights... We had a very hard day queuing in the hot sun. Going in was so pushy and scary people cried. Well not me, I'm used to things like that but many. Definitely worth the effort. Wow. Just wow. Reminded me of Cattolica last year when queuing was hell but the gig amazing
  6. My gig report: https://mikagigs.com/2016/07/23/gig-reviews-mika-festival-du-chateau-in-sollies-pont-france/
  7. This was one of the top quality gigs he has done lately, it was really magical Very special venue. Small report here: https://mikagigs.com/2016/07/22/quick-updates-mika-festival-de-carcassonne-in-france/
  8. My report about the gig with some more pics: https://mikagigs.com/2016/07/18/gig-reviews-mika-festival-des-nimes-france/
  9. Thanks for pics and links, everyone! Can't wait to be back home and have proper connections to watch recordings and interviews from this event. I don't understand how he can look that incredibly good... So rested and relaxed. When does he have time to rest and relax?? Lol! Amazing photos.
  10. This was an excellent concert, in so many ways. Well the setlist was very basic. He did nothing extra (except the French ending) he even skipped Good Wife and Last Party but I didn't mind that because everything he did was stunning (and maybe LP was not appropriate because of the events happened). The venue was amazing and the acoustics extremely good, his voice was beautiful. Can't remember last time I heard the sound that clearly. Even Happy Ending without microphone could be heard in the end of the venue. Really loved everything, an absolute bliss! Very touching moment with a silence and speech (regarding to what happened in Nice) and otherwise great energy and atmosphere. The audience went wild already while waiting for Mika so the vibe was good since the very beginning. Lovely
  11. I'm not worried at all. I'm easily worried about so many things but not about this. I mean if he likes to do television doing his own show is the best way to make it look like him? And he is doing a big tour (and will also do symphony) in Italy so he is getting a lot of attention as a singer as well.
  12. It (the setlist) covered everything really. Italian favorites/singles (Stardust, BD, Hurts), something rare (SWM), fan favorites (Promiseland), a bit different versions (felt truly like a gift to people who have seen many gigs). Never dared to hope for a setlist like this and when he started Promiseland I almost couldn't believe it and almost asked "Are you sure about this?" Promiseland after ALL this?? He really gave a lot And was very focused from the beginning to the end.
  13. Nothing much, they just explain several times how all going to standing need to be at the second gate and seated people another but in the end opened the latter one before and let in a lot of standing people who hadn't queued (and who they seemed to know). And just laughed and looked pleased afterwards. And you know, they are paid for doing all that The gig was so good! Beautiful Disaster is beautiful!!!!!! I wish we could hear it acoustic some day.
  14. My Palermo report is here: https://mikagigs.com/2016/06/27/gig-revies-mika-stadio-delle-palme-in-palermo-italy/
  15. Feeling very spoilt after this show... Amazing set list and it was not just extra/new songs, he really made an effort with every song. Don't even know where to start describing, will write a report later. Maybe the whole tour is more important because of the new TV show, I saw they filmed. I wasn't feeling totally well and couldn't enjoy my usual way but that's another story, the show was really fantastic I filmed a lot but not sure about the quality. People near me were very loud, need to check my vids before uploading.
  16. I shared some photos in my report. I'm traveling so just linking that here: https://mikagigs.com/2016/06/25/mika-banchina-di-san-domenico-in-molfetta-italy/
  17. And this sounds like a good offer. Doing his own show is much bigger thing than doing XF. I hope he can do something like this in English in the future. Maybe not but isn't it great that Italy calls him like that? He deserves to be appreciated And I will love Italy forever if they give him possibilities to do more symphony concerts.
  18. Hahah this is such a funny thought! Lol! Suitable for everyone who is usually late, designed by Mika
  19. Thanks for the summary! I was watching it and understood something here and there but not properly of course and didn't even have time to watch the whole interview. It looked he didn't first realize everything was showed direct on FB? How come they didn't explain that? About the bolded part. He has said the same earlier and referred to his current and slightly changing setlist. Meaning sometimes he sings Promiseland, sometimes he skips it. Sometimes he adds AOW or even Ordinary Man (like in London). In China he asked what people want to hear and then said "oh I heard someone said Billy Brown" and did BB. I was doubting no one asked BB and he just felt like singing it but on the other hand, people in China haven't heard that song much so it was just fine to sing it of course. At some other gig some teenagers screamed Staring At The Sun so he did that as something people had hoped to hear (edit: he might have done also something extra like Stardust but for some reason I can remember SATS so well because some people near me were asking it, hm). I'm quite pleased with his current set list as long as he doesn't leave Last Party out permanently (I will cry if he does that!!!!) and I think it's nice change to occasionally add AOW or OM. Just saying that "possibility to ask for songs" sounds more than it really means, there are so many songs he simply doesn't want to perform (they haven't rehearsed them or he has grown out of them or doesn't like them for some reason, I really don't know). Would love to hear NPIH during the summer tour, at least a few times.... (well it is Heaven tour).
  20. It really felt like a true long gig and not a festival even the set list was quite basic and similar with other long festival sets. I still enjoyed like it was a proper Mika gig and didn't have any feeling that anything was missing at all! Four performances before Mika was a lot so the day felt long and tiring but was totally worth it... It was very spontaneous but otherwise very typical festival performance and still it felt like heaven and so many details happened, some of them so random and funny. Like the bear! He was hugging the bear and then he just had to move his hand a bit lower. And lower. Lol! Becks looked like born on stage dancing and tapping and generally Mika gave a lot of love to his Spanish fans, very happy for everyone and happy to hear Live Your Life again. I wonder if he saw our face paintings? During Underwater he looked at somewhere my directions and smiled and I was confused why (because it was not a funny situation and usually he doesn't give me smiles from stage without a reason) and then I suddenly remembered that I looked like a fox! Lol! Anyway it was fun doing them! Valeria is a professional and Saskia obviously had a hidden talent, they both did a great job! @Mikasister The letters your friend made looked really pretty and I was amazed by the security guy who took them on stage! He was so sweet and so carefully put every letter so they were in the right position. Generally such lovely and helpful security.
