  1. I should have watched the show before believing in those magazines. Well, much ado about nothing! It is however nice to know that France 2 was indeed interested about Mika as a host for a program.
  2. Mika is going to sing J'ai pas envie tomorrow evening in "La Suite" (after the blind auditions).
  3. Well, I just read on twitter (twitted by an other journalist of TPAMP) that Mika had declined the offer. Obviously they just wanted to make some noise to get media attention on their show.
  4. It is true that they all started almost the same time and became huge, but there are so many other artists whose record sales are even weaker than Mika's. For exemple Leona Lewis, James Morrison and Hurts (they started couple of years later) released a new album last year and their record sales are very low. However, LL and James Morrison are touring in UK and Hurts lot in Europe, but in smaller theaters. They don't get much radio play in UK (like Mika doesn't eather) but they try to survive and find their public as well as Mika does. Perhaps, Mika would be in their situation (not being a superstar anywhere) if he hadn't done what he did in France and Italy.
  5. Also Voici magazine writes about it now: http://www.voici.fr/news-people/actu-people/mika-quittera-t-il-bientot-the-voice-pour-rejoindre-france-2-586643 They say that it would be difficult to find someone as charismatic as Mika to replace him in The Voice. In fact, the news were revealed first last evening on a TV show called "Touche pas à mon poste" (Mika was invited to this show couple of months ago), so I think it must be true. Perhaps France 2 discovered how witty he is when the documentary for Envoyé spécial was filmed. Mamiam is right, he is very natural and talented when speaking with different kind of people.
  6. He wouldn't answer . I find this exiting because France 2 has some qualityTV programs and this could show us an other kind of Mika (different from TV shows like The Voice and X Facor).
  7. A French TV magazine writes that Mika is going to have his own TV show on France 2 channel and would be obliged to leave The Voice (on TF1): http://www.telestar.fr/2016/photos/exclu-telestar.fr-sollicite-par-france-2-mika-pourrait-quitter-the-voice-197037 I am not sure if we can still beleive these news, but I find it quite exiting.
  8. That's a great idea! I am wondering why Grace Kelly is suddenly #91 on Spotify charts in UK: http://kworb.net/itunes/artist/mika.html
  9. Thank you Blue Sky for your great report! It seems that every time Mika does a new tour in Japan the venues are bigger: Liquide Room capacity 1200, Studio Coast 2400 and NHK Hall 3600 . It is amazing to notice that he can still sell big venues even if he hasn't got any hit singles on the last album and it didn't sell very well in Japan.
  10. Mika is really priviledged to have fans like you. GG was so beautiful with all the public singing along.
  11. I was also looking forward to see Mika in this film. At least now I won't spend my money to see it . Perhaps was it about his part missing in the film he was talking about when he wrote this on Twitter in January: "Best to chose battles wisely and not waste energy"
  12. That is quite expensive. I have never paid more than 56,50 euros (the Paris gig in May) in France. Perhaps, if they had organized these two gigs outside Seoul in smaller venues, they could have been sold out. How big is this venue?
  13. I hope that the two other concerts aren't half empty . It would be a pity for Mika. I also read that the tickets were quite expensive, that might also be the reason.
  14. I just read you got your tickets . It is true that there are still plenty of tickets left for the standing area, but all the seated tickets are sold. I wouldn't be surprised if the gig was sold out before the end of March.
  15. It is interesting to notice that since The Voice began the tickets for this Paris gig are selling quite fast : all the seated places are sold out now and there are only tickets left for the standing area. I am very happy I bought two tickets for the category 1 few weeks ago (my new year resolution!).
  16. Do you know if tickets to these Korean gigs sold well? I remember it was quite a mess for the real fans to get them because of the scalpers who bought the most of the pre-sale tickets.
  17. Yes, but only the first line and the melody is different. I hope he is releasing something new soon. I know I am too impatient, we just got the reissue with Beautiful Disaster and Feels like love, but it would be great if he had something new for this year's concerts.
  18. I agree with you, J'ai pas envie is a nice song, but lyrics (written with Doriand ) aren't witty enough and even if the melody is joyful I just think this song isn't strong enough to be a single.
  19. I just hope Hurts will be promoted as a single everywhere, also in France. I am afraid that J'ai pas envie won't get any radio play here.
  20. Than you for the videos (especially for Hurts!) and reports. It seems that Mika has recovered from his voice problems.
  21. I juste found these new about Hurts : http://www.notiziemusicali.it/newsmusic-5110 So, the song will be included in the soundtrack of a film called "Un bacio" (a kiss) directed by an italian filmmaker called Ivan Cotroneo who will also directe the video for the song. I am very happy for Hurts being released as a single, hopefully also outside Italy.
  22. Can we relay on that website: http://www.aficia.info/actualite-musique/jai-envie-cest-mika-dit-63829 ? At least the album's real sales aren't that good (yet) in France (about 85 000 now) and there's nothing on Mika's website or twitter about J'ai pas envie being a new single.
