    I am not sure if it because this song has this typical sound from the 80s , but in same points Mika's voice reminds me of Freddie Mercury, especially in "Smiling girls..." When I first head about this collaboration, I wanted to hear some of Battiato's music and I must say that he is quite unique. This song is perhaps one of the easiest to get right away and it's nice to hear Mika's voice on it.

    For the new NPIH relase, there should have been at least two versions: one for the French speaking market and an other international one without the French songs because three new English songs would have been enough (I would have bought the international one ). Or maybe even a third version for Italy with the duos with Fedez and Battiato. I am also very disappointed about Heroes not being on the symphonic CD. Almost everyone here agrees about it and it is difficult to understand why it was left out. I do also like a lot the Make you happy symphonic version. It is one of the OOL songs I didn't like in the beginnig, but learned to love later.

    I don’t think that BBB was composed for any commercial purpose (publicity or other), that’s why I don’t understand what is your point here. Thinking that Mika performed it just because he doesn’t care anymore of his english speaking fans is exaggerated. You can be disappointed by his career and music, but it’s a pity that you give so much importance to a song (only one of 17 others) because you also wrote that you enjoyed the gig very much. It can give to this experience a bitter taste and BBB isn’t worth it . For example, I didn’t like L’amour fait ce qu’il veut in Luxembourg, but perhaps some other fans liked it and it’s OK for me. In the end, it is a matter of personal taste and there can’t be only one right point of view. On the other hand, Sariflor wrote, that apart from the hard core fans, the local crowd doesn’t know BBB and it wasn’t on the NPIH version sold in UK. I understand from that point of view that the song isn’t perhaps the best choice for promoting his music there.

Does it mean that the remastered NPIH is sold separately in Canada, Japan and Korea and not with the live OSM CD? It seems that there isn't any Mika's only version of Beautiful Disaster , but I am happy to know there will be a brand new track on it called "Feels like Love".
