  1. So MFC is finally moving to a new house I'm curious to see our new home I hope everything goes as planned And in case you still need some boxes
  2. They answered me again, but the answer is as useless as the first one I give up, seems like they don't want to understand my question about the Deluxe CD book (Maybe because the people working there don't know it more specific either...) and I can't rephrase any clearer what I want to know. If anybody else wants to try...
  3. I've written to them, asking if they could give me some more information about the Deluxe CD book and if it's different to the "normal" booklet. They answered and copied the description text again in the answer  Now I wrote back again, reasking more persistent Probably it's not different, but as it's listed and has this "deluxe" beforehand and is not called booklet but book I want to know more specific. I won't pay this huge pile of money for a box and some photos as I'm not very interested in them, but would think about it if there is a bigger booklet with more artwork.
  4. Here is the interview with subtitles The part when he talks a bit about the background of the song is at 15:27 (or 14:44 when you want the mustache part, too )
  5. You know that you aren't allowed to go to this gig, it's "verboten" Sorry, had to do this one
  6. Maybe you can put them into spoilers?
  7. Yes, the mixing went totally wrong in the chorus parts. In the first chorus partly you can't hear his live voice at all and in later parts the backup track drowns out his voice
  8. Here is a download for the video: https://www.sendspace.com/file/q1hvb7 (Sometimes the site chooses automatically the option "download with sendspace accelerator and get recommended offers", if that's the case remove the hook before downloading)
  9. And it's also in the "signature" of the Newsletter: http://zaphod.uk.vvhp.net/viewemail?con=8284299&cmp=10189&act=395678&subj=0&sec=16dbb0a4e4f1&webversionpage=1
  10. Yes, this should be part of the interview from yesterday which will be aired tomorrow Another snippet video is here: http://www.europe1.fr/mediacenter/emissions/sortez-du-cadre/videos/plagiat-mika-s-explique-sur-la-polemique-2418753#utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  11. This email is not from mikasounds.com, but from Universal Music France. Seems like you've registered for their Mika newsletter, too. It's only about The Voice Unless somebody of the subs team wants to do it of course
  12. I love the cover! Mainly the painting (towards the photo I'm neutral, although I like it with the grey background it doesn't connect with the colourful background in the same way). It's colourful again and still something new and I like how everything fits together and how playful it is. I never really liked the cover of TOOL, so I'm happy this cover is a great one again.
  13. It's on Mikafrance: http://www.mikafrance.com/news-1079-c-a-vous-zazie-duo-rock-the-voice.html
  14. Yes, it's my favorite at the moment Good choice
  15. It's not the melody that makes a song trashy though and this is the only thing where the 2 songs have some similarities
  16. Thanks for the information, Deb I had totally forgotten about this song, but after I listened to it now I remembered that it was on a vinyl my grandma had and I liked it as a child (so you can say I'm consistent, too ) For me it's loosely similar, but nothing very near. That's just speculating now, but for me it looks a bit like with Relax, no actual copying but realizing afterwards that something similar exists already, so the authors were cited Edit: Seems like the people who were reminded of "I only want to be with you" weren't the only ones, the last names, Michael Edwin Hawker and Ivor Raymond, are the writers of this song
  17. I love the melody of the verses. So much!!! Especially the beginning when there is mostly only the bass line and his voice is great. I didn't like the chorus too much at the first listen, but after I listened again I started to like the melody, too. And this melody sticks to your head as much as the melody of the verse. But it's too repetitive for me. The more I listen the more it gets borderline annoying to me. I think some changes of the words of the lyrics or changes in the arrangement would have been great. So you'd have the melody but with variations. I like TAY, but some spike, some edge is missing for me, the thing that makes a catchy song to an amazing song. Which is unfortunate, because until 1:40 min the song is on its way to become exactly such a song for me. If the acoustic bridge would have been longer and the chorus instead a bit shorter… And I was worried when I realized how I would place the song in my Eurovision ranking. There's no connection between Eurovison and Mika of course (before someone starts to panic , and sorry for getting a bit offtopic ), but as I did a ranking over the weekend and my brain is somehow still in "song sorting modus" it just automatically happened that I began to rank it. The place depends a bit on if I would rate it down because of the repetitiveness, but it would never scratch my Top 3. And it's Mika, he easily should go straight to my Number 1! But don't give too much on my opinion, I thought Celebrate was ****ing amazing after I heart it for the first time
  18. If somebody wants to listen to all of the songs SF 1 Moldova Armenia Belgium The Netherlands Finland Greece Estonia F.Y.R. Macedonia Serbia Hungary Belarus Russia Denmark Albania Romania Georgia   SF 2 Lithuania Ireland San Marino Montenegro Malta Norway Portugal Czech Republic
  19. Until we get a good audio tomorrow http://www.mediafire.com/listen/0ny7izim7q3480c/TAY_cutted.wav
