Sadly my mum's cat passed away last month - exactly three weeks ago, actually. His condition was getting worse and worse and he just wasn't himself anymore so we decided it was best to let him go, even though it was absolutely heartbreaking holding him for the last time. The vet told my mum that he fell asleep really quickly and that he must've been awfully tired so it most definitely was the right thing to do. Even though I miss him so much I know he's in a better place now with his brother.
