    I walk much easier when I'm not burdened down by my bag, an umbrella, a jacket, sunglasses and the like. Our weather has been changing every five minutes, it feels like!

    My brother had a little monkey (I think a capuchin) when I was very young. All I remember about it is (1) it ate Tootsie pops, (2) it didn't last long in the house and (3) it pooped whenever it sat on people's shoulders. So whatever you do, avoid letting one "sit there and not get off"!!!

    Was browsing Tumblr earlier before I left, and my computer was in low power status the five hours I was out, this image of someone waiting patiently for my return was staring at me when I opened it back up and logged in... he's so patient!

    Oh, and I've never watched American Idol or any of those music shows, so my opinion is just that, my opinion.

    I think of myself as a longtime fan, even though I've not been ardent in the pursuit of all things Mika all this time. I can't watch the show, so I'm definitely not looking at his "pretty face" when it comes to it, but I know that a lot of people I knew at one time thought he was a pretty boy and sort of a freak, based on his clothing (which I loved, being quirky myself) and that he was usually singing about gay relationships (!!!). He's always been a bit of an acquired taste among the people I know in my age bracket, which is why I've tended to befriend people who are open to various musicians and types of people.
