  1. I'm so excited that Mika is currently in my home city!! I wonder what he's doing here? Really wish he would do a proper concert in Scotland again sometime.
  2. Hi Cat and welcome to MFC! I'm also from Scotland (I live in Glasgow too!) and I was also at the concert in London. I'm glad you were able to experience it too!
  3. This is a great, very detailed report and helped me to relive my own memories of the night. I definitely understand what you mean about Mika talking, it's a very special thing to hear him talking so personally at a concert. Glad you had an amazing time and loved every minute. Your Mika bracelets were so cute!
  4. It has taken me a few listens to get into this song, but the more I listen to it the more I like it and I actually really like the video! I love the glamorous disco scene and Las Vegas aesthetic
  5. Yes I saw it! It has made me feel a bit better If he does another UK show next year, that would be ideal.
  6. I saw Mika on Sunday in London and the PMD is hitting me hard today. I just wish I knew when I will see him again... That being said, I had an amazing time at the concert and will treasure every memory! Someone once said "don't be sad that it's over, be grateful that it happened". That thought is getting me through this.
  7. I will start my report by saying that Sunday was one of the best days of my entire life! I have now seen Mika three times and I think this gig might just be my favourite so far. I travelled to London on Friday and spent a day of sightseeing on Saturday before the concert on Sunday. Unfortunately, I couldn't attend the MFC meet-up on Saturday night as my mum and I had booked a show together, but it was lovely to meet some fans in the queue! It was also great to see @dcdebagain - thanks for stopping by to say hi! After a long day of queuing, it was finally time to enter the Roundhouse. I was so excited - this was my first time seeing Mika after lockdown, and words cannot describe how grateful I was for this concert. Although I wasn't right at the front, I was three or four rows from the stage, very close to Mika's microphone stand, so the view I had was fantastic. Mika appeared after 9pm and my heart raced with excitement when I saw him. He opened with Lollipop and all I could do was look at him in awe. The atmosphere was electric and fans were singing along to every word. The seven-month wait and day of queuing had definitely been worth it. He sang Origin Of Love then performed Big Girl from the crowd, which was incredible! I also enjoyed the fan action when everyone held up hearts during Tiny Love. For me, my favourite part of the show was when Mika sang Tomorrow. About halfway through the first verse, he suddenly made eye contact with me, and lifted a finger to point at me before smiling that wonderful smile. I was so excited and happy!! It was only the briefest of moments but I will remember this forever. It was also amazing to hear Billy Brown (a request from a fan) and Popular Song (one of my all-time favourites). I was very excited to hear the new song Who's Gonna Love Me Now, a beautiful ballad that captivated the entire crowd. We Are Golden - my favourite Mika song - was also an incredible moment, and Love Today made a spectacular finale to this spectacular show. But the night was not over yet! Once Mika had left the stage, a remix of Yo-Yo blasted round the venue, and the crowd were still partying and dancing so it was like a giant nightclub. The atmosphere was truly amazing at this concert and I'll remember it forever. I stopped by the stage door afterwards and Mika signed a few autographs for fans. Although I didn't meet him properly, I was incredibly close to him (see photo below) and I was happy for the fans who got to meet him. Overall, a fantastic show! I wish I could relive every moment. Hopefully it won't be too long until he performs in London again!
  8. Just got back from London and the concert was absolutely incredible!!! I really wish I could turn back time and relive it all again. What a fantastic night and Mika was phenomenal! Will write a longer report later once I've caught up on some sleep!
  9. Hope everyone has fun tonight! Sorry I can't be there but I'll see you tomorrow in the queue
  10. I'll be travelling down to London tomorrow - so excited!!
  11. At least we're all in the same boat. Fingers crossed we get them soon
  12. Thanks, hopefully it will be OK then. I would just prefer to have the ticket sooner in advance, just to make things less stressful. Ticket chaos aside, I'm so looking forward to Sunday!
  13. Ticketmaster says I will be sent details of how to access my tickets by email, no later than 5 days before the event. The concert is only 5 days away and I still haven't received any emails! Do you think it's worth getting in touch with them about this or do you think it will be ok? I heard that tickets can arrive within 48 hours of the event, but the fact they said I should receive an email 5 days before and I haven't received it is making me a bit nervous.
  14. Hi Beth and welcome to MFC! I'm from Scotland too
  15. Only 10 days to go - so excited! The wait is nearly over I do have a couple of questions about the upcoming gig. Has anyone received their tickets yet, and if not, when do you think they will be sent? Also, what time are you all planning to queue? I'm hoping to be there around mid-morning.
  16. Hi, I'm also going alone, though planning to queue beforehand and meet some other Mika fans in the queue. Maybe I'll see you there
  17. I love the Yo-Yo video. It's really quirky and artistic, and of course Mika looks so good! Can't wait to hear him perform the song in London
  18. This sounds amazing and I would love to go, but my mum and I have booked tickets to see a West End show in the evening so unfortunately I won't be able to attend. I hope you all have an amazing time though, and I'll see you all in the queue!
  19. I like the idea of a picnic or a canal cruise. I won't be able to attend the event in the evening but an afternoon activity on the Saturday would suit me Can't believe it's only 40 days now, getting more excited by the minute!
  20. Mika was an amazing host at Eurovision last night! Charming, gorgeous, funny and everything else you'd want in a presenter. I absolutely loved his medley, the staging was so colourful! Here's hoping that his time on Eurovision has created some new Mika fans
  21. Listened to this song three times this morning already! Needless to say, I love it and it's currently stuck in my head. To me, this is one of the most mainstream-sounding songs Mika has released, but of course it still has that special Mika touch. I love the lyric "take out all my sorrow, put it on the beat". As someone who has used music to cope with difficult times over the past couple of years, I deeply relate to this. The song also has a summery sound and a very nightclub-friendly vibe. Can't wait to see the music video!
  22. I am loving the new song! Really like the piano hook and upbeat dance vibe. The vocal style in the verses reminds me of the verses of Ice Cream. This song is unique and amazing! Can't wait for the new album and hopefully to hear it live myself
