    I heard that Mika wrote the song as a sort of tribute to Freddie Mercury. So you could say he is referencing him in this song. When I saw the lyrics for the first time, I thought the same as you. But it's a very beautiful, emotional song. It's more like a classical piece than a pop song. Mika is so versatile in his music. Oh, and I absolutely ADORE the video, even if it makes me sad.

    I'm sorry for you all. We only got about three days of decent promotion in the UK, but Mika has not done any proper interviews here since July. The most disappointing thing is: he said on radio that we would get gigs - plural - but we only got one, which not everyone could go to. While I'm happy that the Adelphi gig was a success, I'm sad that there are no more gigs as even just a couple more would support his promotion. I'm sure that there are many British people who would go and see him live if they had the chance. I also wish he was more promoted in all countries, rather than just simply focusing on Italy and France.

    I think people might accidentally skip past certain posts, but I don't know. I'll do my best to correct people when they go wrong! His clothes are all so different and unusual, so it would be hard to look for similar clothes in shops. Also, it would be difficult to style my hair like him, of course.

    Study, study, study. So boring, but necessary. It's getting really cold now, as well. Not long to Christmas! Dunno. Why are you confused? Stay at home and chill. Listen to Halloween-themed songs. I'll definitely watch the Popular Song vid, cos it's a bit creepy. But Mika is so gorgeous in that video. My friend dared me to dress up as Mika but I have no costume. What a shame.

    Hahaha me too, I get so excited and my mum thinks I've gone mad lol. I think it was either last week, or the week before, the instrumental of Staring at the Sun was played on Strictly Come Dancing. It was played during a VT which showed the dancing couple training. I was so happy because Strictly Come Dancing is one of my all-time favourite TV shows.

    Lucky you. I'm still at college. It really frustrates me sometimes, but at least it will give me good qualifications. Have fun! Are you doing anything nice? Try listening to Mika! His music usually helps me to revise but sometimes I end up zoning out and just gazing at the artwork in the CD...

    Katie Melua is a stunning female vocalist from Georgia. She is famous for releasing alternative pop and jazz albums. I find her voice very healing and therapeutic. Like Mika, she has performed at the Zenith in Lille and the Roundhouse in London.     It's the same for me. I've actually listened to it so many times now that I've got used to it. Anyway, it's worth listening to the rap just so you can hear how beautiful Mika's voice sounds after it.
