  1. I have the impression that the one that is sold at the venues is the signed one and the one you have ordered is the unsigned one, since it was not mentioned on the website (as the new merch came out) that it would be a signed copy, like they did for the vinyl. But you know: sometimes it’s better to have Mika sign the photo book live when you see him in the future that is what is holding me back to buy it. I really like my personalized signed things. The only reason I will buy it now is for friends who can’t.
  2. (Finish the sentence!) ….exempt of tastebuds, because Epoisses is DIVINE …not educated in the wonderful world of cheese, for example this is a….(etc etc) …having a personal vendetta against cheese! What did cheese ever do to you!?!? …not aware of the consequences this will have on my cheesy wellbeing …not very inclusive! Cheese have feelings!!!
  3. In all fairness, from this side it does look like a giant foot with Pennibrook Penniman sitting there
  4. I think he is doing a “Taylor Swift” and I don’t blame him for it: https://www.thenews.com.pk/amp/1138898-taylor-swift-explains-her-zero-followers-rule
  5. That poor technician holding upside down in an attempt to still make it look good until the end of the show, bless him I really hope it is assembled in such a way that it can be easily fixed again!? And otherwise: Try to fly against the wind, even with a broken wing, Mika
  6. I wonder if they have decided to keep a certain number of signed tourbooks per gig, so they can still offer some for the later dates, or they will just sell it all as long as there is a big demand at gigs. Do you maybe know, @dcdeb? My friends would like a signed tourbook when they go to Amsterdam, but are afraid they may be sold out by then (and they only told me after I went to the show in Strasbourg, doh )
  7. From what I understood both before and after the show! I haven’t bought anything myself, but I know you can also still buy after the gig, although the venue will kick you out swiftly after the end of the show at some point, because they want to close up
  8. You all are doing better than me. I just move my lips around in the hope of some kind of synchronicity along the way. Basically winging it
  9. @vlies Jolanda maybe still has an extra ticket!
  10. I’ve tried several times to add my videos, but for some reason it won’t let me. I do have a compilation video I made and posted on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C4XhAOatzRo/?igsh=MWN3eWYxOW5nc3RsMQ==
  11. Thank you @Gabry74for the photos and videos! Do you maybe have a video where he thanks the public (by himself) right after WAG? I see you have a picture of that moment, but do you also have a video?
  12. Just realized I totally forgot to write about Jane Birkin! The public was so eager to sing along, they hummed the “la la la” melody completely spontaneously along to the music. Mika clearly showed and said how happy this made him. He said while in the studio recording (a different song that didn’t make it on the album), he said that he wished for a song where the public would spontaneously and voluntarily sing along. And that is exactly what happened - and it moved him very much.
  13. Well, that’s was really freaking amazing. I can’t get over what a true explosion this was. Not just for the eyes, but also in my heart. I have seen every video so far from the previous shows and I didn’t mind at all to see spoilers, because I knew it wouldn’t take away from the live experience. And for anyone wondering if that was true: yes, it was still mind blowing and surprisingly different (in the best way!) to see the show live!! The intro of Bougez is just WOW. To see the birdcage and the wings like that, I think my heart skipped a beat. Talk About You was a happy contrast after that, because Bougez is more dark and heavy and there comes Talk About You all happy, light and melodic. Having both contrast within 8 mins makes it a Mika concert pur sang, in my opinion. He then sang Feels Like Fire, which I had the privilege to see (so far) the only time live with Nomfundo in Cheltenham last year. I was curious to see how he would transform it to with the screens to still make her feel present. I have to say it worked out perfectly. The visuals in combination with his suit and the light were amazingly chosen. Strasbourg was very interactive and loud, but especially from Underwater and Relax on it became very noticeable! Moments like this give me shivers and you could clearly see it made Mika very happy as well. It energized him tremendously, knowing he had been sick (and still was, honestly). For perspective: the normal spectator would not have noticed at all, because he gave his 300% like he always does. For us as fans who see him regularly, we knew he wasn’t 100%, but it didn’t take away from his energy and eagerness to perform and make sure he would give it his 300%, despite everything. (But the mum in me did think at the end “GO TO BED!!!” And not because he looked like it, but because I was worried for him.) The whole gig I was between being in complete awe with stars in my eyes looking at the stage, or dancing like crazy. There was no in between, I was experiencing the gig in extremes. I know I will see and feel more nuances once I’ve seen the show more times, can’t wait for that. We heard Yo Yo in the Remix version. You just have to jump up and dance with that song. No questions asked. Elle Me Dit is always amazing in France, as well as Grace Kelly. What I didn’t expect, was that for 30 secondes and C’est La Vie the public was there in the same ferocity and boy, that felt good!! Energy was amazing. For Happy Ending he sat down in the smoke and he changed up the lyrics. The part where he goes to instrumental and often speaks, he sang this time: “This is the way that we’ve been I’m not pretending No hope, no love, no glory No happy ending This is the way that we love Like it’s forever Living the rest of our lives For what? We cry For what? We fight….and scream…. For what? For a little bit of love” It was very intimate and vulnerable… And very beautiful, because from that moment on the venue would slowly sing along “a little bit of love” and it gave me chills. Love love love the instrumental intro of Love Today. But now with the feather suit it really made him look like a rockstar. I also believe he feels like one! I would say for this show Mika is a rocking popstar, but for this song in particular he was a popping rockstar! Any Other World actually made me cry from the inside. It was so moving, the world stood still. But don’t worry! The world was upside down again when We Are Golden came up! And he was wearing the BLOOM necklace again, the one MFCer Camilla gave him in Catollica last year! And the pink cape from the Yo Yo Music video. Honestly, it was perfect way to end the gig. The cape flowed perfectly and gave it a flowery yet dramatic ending it deserved. We waited for Mika to come out, because well, we were there anyway. From previous times after the concerts last week, we knew he would stay in the car. And him still recovering from illness, we wanted him to go rest ASAP, so we didn’t expect anything other than maybe seeing his car drive by. He came out after maybe a little over an hour after the show and waved from the car, he was beaming and smiling widely! Clearly very happy. It was beautiful to see and such a nice bonus after a really really amazing gig.
  14. He just did and I am glad he is listening to his doctor! Hope he will get well soon, I could just feel the frustration from his words.
  15. Oh Mika, rest well and be well. His schedule is so tight I worried for him before it all began, let’s just hope his volcanic clay, the supplements, the humidifier for his vocal cords, good food and rest will make him recover soon ❤️
  16. In London 2022 there was one person who queued the evening before. They queued a total of 23 hours and told Mika during the show, his answer: “23 hours? I’m honoured, but….. WHY!?”
  17. This is a really good question, because it really depends on how long his set is and if he’s the only one on stage. Also depends on how big the stage is and what is technically possible on site. For Warwick castle he is the only performer that day, so it’s likely he has a full set. Also, judging from the past and looking at videos from previous performers like Gwen Stefani, it was a show with many elements and big screens, so technically it seems possible to have him do the whole sha-bang. What we know from his tour schedule so far, he is in Athens, Greece on the 2nd of July and Warwick Castle on the 7th. It is enough time for his crew to drive from one place to another, but who knows if he will announce concerts in between? However, after all this speculation, the question remains if he decides to do so we will never know until we arrive I guess! I’ve also booked tickets for Warwick and I am fiercely hoping he is doing the full thing. But I can imagine he has a different version of the show, since it’s open air… Either way, with Warwick Castle as a scenery, it is going to be really special.
  18. Sorry ich muss es einfach laut schreiben, weil… ALLE GUTE DINGE SIND DREI!!! Berlin, Bonn und Schwetzingen in 2024!? Wahnsinn x3!!!
  19. To be fair, “lime green” is really between yellow and green. Haha. In the studio it looked more green I have to say, maybe also because of the studio lights and the contrast to the red and black everywhere. Either way, it’s a beautiful suit and the colour suits him very well, I think we can all agree on that
