It seems to be a combination of all the other versions from around the world.

 

There are 14 tracks.....the extra ones being Ring Ring, Over My Shoulder, Erase & Your Sympathy on top of the 10 true album tracks.

 

Depending on what version you're used to hearing....it seems odd to hear it differently!

 

Oh right, I see. Did you get the stickers with it as well?

I think Suzy's gone for a bit...but yes, she met the Ting Tings too. This picture with Mika was taken at the same club actually.

What club is that?

 

It's called the Mod Club - capacity of about 600. It's owned by the British singer of a 1980s band called Platinum Blonde and he gets up and coming British acts booked before they become well known in North America.

 

Suzy and I also saw the Fratellis there last summer and I've seen Kate Nash and Paolo Nutini as well. Amy Winehouse played two dates at the Mod Club a couple of months after Mika but tickets were being scalped for $300. :thumbdown:

 

Here's Mika performing at the Mod Club. The girl who took these pictures was in the queue behind us while we were waiting for the Ting Tings.

The first animal costume - he actually sang with the head on! :roftl: There were bubbles instead of confetti.

It's got to be Grace Kelly, for both the song and video.

 

Love the song, cos well, it's the reason I started liking Mika in the first place.

Love the video because it seems so natural, without using too much technology for giving it weird effects and what not, and just seems like everyone is having such a great time there.. as well as all the yummy food there :bleh:

Not much homework been done yesterday!! :naughty:

 

Anyways, Love Today is my favorite song of all time!

 

For me it's the perfect pop song......the catchy tune, the lyrics and the variations in the music throughout the song.

 

However, I wasn't keen on the video.......I think it was because it is my fave that I was expecting it to be "more"............for instance, I thought they should have had all of the characters in it rather than just an interpretation of Carolina.

 

I suppose Big Girl will always be special to me as I'm in it! :roftl::roftl::roftl:

Hmmm, favorite song that's hard it changes all the time, but I really love Holy Johnny.

 

I've mentioned before that the first two songs we know from the new album have a religious element to them.......and I wonder whether if either of them (HMDYLM being the other!) will be singles and if so, what kind of videos they would have??

 

It is a great song though!
