All I remember is, him offering his hand, me going to shake it,and how soft it was when we did shake hands.

Then asking for a hug, him sliding his arm from behind me round to the front of me, not realising (until I saw the video earlier) that he'd bent his head down too!

5 mins of feeling like a kid again:wub2:.

i'm sure he read your mind about it and has some sort of built-in warmth-of-hand-control... so his hand went cold immediately when he shook yours, so he didn't have to spend the whole night in this tent. :naughty::roftl:

hehe nope... I think he's reading the forum LOL... mine meeting was "oh hi Mika nice to meet ya...-MIKA: yeah...hi-bye." LOL... and I didn't even get a pic.. well I'm not gonna cry furthermore I didn't want to chase him so... I'm Mika picture-less LOL:mf_rosetinted: thanks MIKA... that was nice of ya :bleh:

I was going to make a good report but I think that it will have to wait now, until I have posted this long thing trying to defend myself :naughty:.

I have read the posts about the "much better than Paris!" shout in the video earlier. It was me saying that.

And before anyone jumps at my throat, let me tell you that I don't think that I did anything wrong :wink2:.

If you watch the video again, you will notice that the person who Mika is speaking to at the moment says to him at the end: "even better than Paris". I was sitting right there, next to where they were standing (obviously, as you can see from how the video is taken) and heard it.

I just had to agree and say it.

Here is the vid:

http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=38035863

Many of you may disagree with that, and it's your right to do so as much as it's my right to think that it's not a big deal.

I really have to disagree with people saying that it's impolite, or "like kicking his ass".

To me, it's just a spontaneous reaction giving him an opinion, mine. That's all it is. I am not even trying to convince anyone, least of all Mika, that this gig was fantastic and that Paris was crap, because this is not what I think.

All I did was express my views on how this gig compared to Paris for me, as a fan, as an audience member, because this is what I believe in: providing feedback. If I was an artist, I would appreciate all kinds of feedback, good and not so good. Or ideas, or suggestions, etc, etc.

In fact Mika has proved to be quite open to hearing opinions so far, and sometimes seemingly reacted to it, so I don't see why it's such a problem.

I never said this intending to disrespect him, or to bash him and his Paris gig. In actual fact, I had already given him good feedback for the Paris gig, and had told him that I was happy that I had gone to it and been a part of it, witnessing it first hand.

In the same way that I give him good feedback, and everyone finds that the most natural thing in the world, I reserve the right to give him not so positive feedback as well, because I think that I have never done it in a disrispectful way.

And believe me, of all the times I have spoken or communicated with Mika, I must have given a balance of 90% good and 10% bad.

Being a fan doesn't mean that one should only kiss the ground on which the artist walks; What good is that?

Thinking that Mika (or anyone) is infallible and perfect, hence everything he does is as well, just seems very surreal and quite irrational to me.

It's obvious that I love him, or I wouldn't be following him around the world spending all my cash on his gigs, buying his things, and spending time on his fanclub.

I just reserve the right to be critical, and voice it when he does things that I don't like.

I would also like to add that, even though some of you may not believe it, I am actually quite a decent person :blush-anim-cl: and one of those people who always worry about upsetting people, and that tries to be polite and respectful in all occasions. Hence why I always end up not speaking to Mika when there are tons of pushy others, and only get my chance when people behave or there is a clear, organised system (like in Amsterdam).

Basically, I'm trying to say (and I hope that the MFC'ers who I have met in person can see that) I am not a nasty person, who goes around bashing people and trying to upset them.

Maybe sometimes I can get carried away, and just blurt my thoughts out as they are formed, and often too loud, but I can guarantee that it's not done in a mean way (Except for when someone is attacking me so that is obviously different).

I just like to give my opinions when I think they can be given, that's all. And as I had already given Mika the "good points" of Paris, I saw the chance her to comment on the difference between these 2 gigs. Because believe me, there was a HUGE difference for me.

For starters, in Paris I could not see a thing (unless I looked at the screens) for 80 or 90 percent of the time, which is when he was on the main stage. Then, when he came to the catwalk, it was good, but very short. And for me, I much prefer a smaller show where I just see Mika, than a big production with lots of other acts, as in backup singers, performers, circus people or whatever.

And this my friends, is all I was trying to express with that comment. I wasn't saying "Mika, Paris was crap", or "you are crap". Come on, there IS a difference :thumb_yello:.

Plus I had already had my fangirl moment a few minutes before that, revelling in his little laugh when we chatted, so I think that it only balanced things anyway:roftl:.

I will now try to attempt a report because (of course:naughty:) I have a lot to say about the gig.

i wanted to ask him for a hug but was scared of rejection :lmfao:

Aww, you should have done!

Shady was sat beside me there, and all day she didn't know what to say to him and was afraid she would look silly getting tongue tied. But when he moved away from me, she asked him if she could have a hug too, and he said "sure" and gave her a little hug too. I think that made her night!

It's on the video Sara did.
