Aww thank you .

Btw I can wash my clothes and make tea :thumb_yello::naughty:

That's right! Make us old people redundant and good for nothing. On the scrapheap.

Seeing as you don't need your mothers to do these chores, we will just have to follow pop stars around and suck lollipops and so on. Sigh

You made us do it.

:punk: Which is why I am practising lots of undesirable habits

to ensure a wicked time when I enter my old folks home!!! :roftl::roftl:

Yes, I understand what you were saying and I do agree. Certain types of music are certainly more timeless than others.

How timeless is classical music for example? Ditto.

I also agree about Luke's music being more honest, in the sense that it all comes very obviously straight from the heart, and that is what it's all about.

Mika's music is often more focused towards 'effect' and 'atmosphere' and other things rather than the feeling in the words.

I must admit that Lollipop is NOT my favourite :roftl:

Isn't it Mika's fav tho? :roftl:

It's probably the age difference, and the difference of interests and character.Mika's experimenting at the moment...probably everything :fisch:

It's all later than you think.

You may be 20 now but believe me the years will go fast.

You suppose I'm not aware of that? :naughty:

I started panicking, what if I don't get everything I've planned done by the time I'm 30,and then start having regrets and cannot do anything about it?

Don't underestimate us kids,or at least this kid :biggrin2:

Oh I'm feeling a bit depressed at all of this now.

ooh but you shouldn't

* has a vision of luke reading his thread and finding himself in a retirement home*

'how have we come here?'

Ma che ne so io! :roftl: Capitano le cose

That wouldn't be wise,he couldn't roam free musically. He could find himself a cozy spot in the garden and contemplate life tho

Fabulous! It's often not your age, it's other people's attitudes that get you down.

I always say though, you've only got two choices, old or dead.

She was brought up in the time where her parents said she did not

need an education as she would "just" be getting married and having

children. She waited until she had left my dad, saved some money

then went to Uni as a mature student!!

I was at her graduation - and was so proud.

When I send her cards or letters I always add BD hons after her name :naughty:

She has my admiration too! And I don't blame you for adding her letters!

A wise person on the MFC told me once: Age is just a number!:wink2:

I'll definitely stick to that!:biggrin2:

Who was that? I need to meet her. And now I remember I wanted to meet the person who edited the Mika album wiki with the "if I were a boy" EP :roftl:

I'm assuming it's a 'her' as 99% of the population on here is female

Now, isn't our dear Lukas turning 30 soon? If so, then he's over the hill! Someone, buy the man a cane and a rocking chair! :old:

Yes..it's tragic,people should consider retiring with 29 already :mf_rosetinted:

You gave me a fab visual right now :roftl: I may have watched too many episodes of the powerpuff girls in my youth, but the rocking chair and cane reminded me of this
